Booked to stay at Residencial Mar dos Acores. However, upon arrival we were told our room was in Joao XXI. We weren't too worried about quality though as we only needed somewhere cheap to stay during Nos Alive festival so this wasn't really an issue. Location is slightly dubious with prostitutes frequenting the street outside. Bathroom smelt of drains when...

You get what you pay for. The rooms are a little dated as are the bathrooms but it is cheap and has free Wi-Fi. Perfect for anyone on a budget or for short one or two night stays. It is conveniently situated 10 eur taxi ride from the airport. All the rooms have a TV and air-conditioning. They have a...

We booked 4 person room for very low price. The room was just enough to sleep. 1 double bed, 2 single beds, TV, bathroom. Not much space for walking around. If You go to visit Lisbon, and do not intend to stay in the hotel this is good place. Central location, near tram and metro. I recommend the restaurant just...

We stayed at this hostel as it appeared to be good value for money, but it really was very basic, and we could hear the comings and goings of all the residents, plus the road noise, meant that we got almost no sleep. If you are very young, and will be coming back late at night, and making noise, then...

The location of this hostel is pretty bad. The nearest metro is about 10-15 minutes away. The rooms are relatively small (for 2 people) AND what ticked me off the most is I got accused and charged 20 euros for damaging their mattress. When they told me I had to pay up the receptionist was not able to show me...

Had a pleasant 5 night stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean but had no kettle or hairdryer, i had e mailed in advance to ask about the facilities and was told that there was an area that we could use a kettle and hairdryers were available at the reception desk. We decided to take a kettle...

The hotel/hostel was basic but had all you needed, it was clean, comfy, good sized bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location within 15mins walk of the old centre of Lisbon and the same to the new district. There was a steep incline back from the old town. The nearest metro station was 5 mins walk away, also there...

I booked the room and paid a deposit the day before our arrival. Confirmation arrived and everything seemed OK. We traveled the whole day (= no internet) to Lisbon and happily arrived at about 8 PM to the hostel. But when we wanted to check-in the receptionist said that our reservation had been cancelled. I asked her why, but she...

Lady who greeted us was the biggest grump. Looked like she hated her job, and did not want to be there. We asked her for help for what to do in Lisbon and just gave us a pamphlet. Accidently spilt a little bit of water on the front desk and she went mental. Room had awesome aircon and blacked out...
