The best thing about the hotel was the shower! Hot and powerful. The bathroom was tiny and you couldn't open the bathroom door fully as the toilet was in the way. The beds were comfortable but the linens was very old. No wifi as it was "broken" same with getting a duplicate key- that machine was also broken! The breakfast was ok but the staff seemed completely disengaged couldn't crack a smile. We were with a large party of rugby players under 17 and I don't know what genius thought they would eat cod, cabbage and boiled potatoes for dinner on not one but 2 nights. Needless to say McDonalds' profits went through the roof for the weekend. The barman was the only cheerful soul in the place. All in all the word I would use for this hotel is tired. Much better value and nicer places to stay in Lisbon.

Our stay in Amazonia Lisboa Hotel was a nice stay in an average hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel we had a warm welcome at the desk of the reception. The girl took the time to tell us things about the city. Before that we weren't very happy at the airport. Because there wasn't a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The website/information of the hotel told us there IS a shuttle-service what we could use but there wasn't. So we had to find out how to get to the hotel. It wasn't really a big problem but if you assume it and it isn't there....it's a pity.

After our check-inn we had to wait in the lobby, because our room was not ready. For us it was normal because it was only 11.00 am. The lobby is cozy, but the furniture is in an old condition. Only in the lobby it is possible to use wifi. You have to pay 5 euro for using it. I went to the toilet near the lobby but it looks like it wasn't cleaned for days so I immediatly run out of it and waited until our room was ready.

The room was basic but nice! You have got everything what you need to stay over for a couple of days. Every day the room was cleaned by Eduarda! She is starting very early in the morning and works so hard. A big compliment for her! A very nice lady for the guests in the hotel especially for us. Every morning she wishes us a beautiful day and our room was cleaned so very well.

The hotel is near a big shopping mall and if you walk for 10 minutes you are at the place where the touristic busses are leaving. Near the hotel there are some nice restaurants.
The hotel is in a quiet street. We weren't disturbed by noise or party people.

I recommend this hotel for people who want to do a city-trip. It's a basic hotel, with nice staff and near the highlights of Lisboa.

We booked this hotel and the strength of the price! We don't spend much time in the hotel when on holiday, all we really need is somewhere to sleep and wash but we'd prefer a private bathroom if possible, so I always scour the internet looking for the cheapest hotels rather than hostels.

The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Lisbon, about five minutes walk from the Rato metro station, which means it's easy to get straight into the centre pretty quickly. There is a lovely shaded square at the end of the street where we went in the morning for croissants and coffee - much cheaper than at the hotel, which I think was 8 Euros for breakfast.

The room itself was okay, although we did need to leave the air conditioning on all day to ensure a good night's sleep - maybe that says more about our English climate than the room though! The bathroom was showing signs of age (the odd cracked tile etc.) but was clean enough.

I must say that the service was very good. I sent them an email just a couple of days before arriving to ask if we could have a balcony room and they got back to me very quickly and confirmed that we had one. They were also happy to store our luggage when we arrived until our room was ready. They were also happy to call us a taxi upon checking out.

Overall, I'd be happy to return.

I have made a booking to enjoy a quick vacation with my wife and newly born. Unfortunately, the flight attendant did not allow us to the flight due to having the resident card of our child and not yet his passport (although we know that traveling within the EU is perfectly OK using the resident card and not necessarily the passport, so we sis our due diligence).
I tried to contact you and one of your sides said that he can't make a decision regarding my refund so he told me to contact Hostel to contact the hotel.
I tried to contact hotels.com and the hotel itself to cancel the booking and get refunded. We were shocked and disappointed with the unprofessional attitude in dealing with our frustrating situation. We even tried to cancel the rest of the days and only lose the fees for booking the first night, but we did not receive any professional response to handle our complaint.
there is a lot of option to make your customer satisfied.
1- total refund.
2- Refund for only 3 night
4- Voucher for my next reservation.

I am waiting for a response from you regarding my issue otherwise this is definitely gonna be my last booking through you. My friends and family are also keen to know of your response and postponing their potential booking through you, not to face frustrating customer service as well.

We were in the hotel for 5 nights. The room was elegant and spacious with a balcony overlooking the river. There was no electric kettle in the room, but we requested it and the reception man gave it to us. Also, the room was very clean. The breakfast was good and had a good variety. The location of the hotel is near Louis 7th Park and Louis de Pombal square, and you can visit many tourist places almost by walking, but access by bus and subway is not recommended for elderly people with heavy luggage. From the airport to the hotel, in my opinion, definitely Use a taxi. The receptionists are very friendly, especially Anna😊🙂 Thank you very much for your guidance and guidance and seeing the tourist attractions on the map.

I'm a software engineer, so I need internet all the time, but Amazonia hotel's wifi never works.
The price of the hotel is too high, but the services are terrible. I have to change three rooms so far the first one does not have a fridge, the lamps were not working the second one the shower was not working, and the refrigerator was working as a heater. The third one smells terrible and is too noisy. and above all the breakfast is not good at all the other day that I went for breakfast there were small cockroaches on dishes 🤢 the only good thing is location but anyway there many hotels in this location with the same price

Stayed close to week, the hotel has everything you need for a city trip. Clean and comfy. The amazonian green color theme in the room is strange, but everything is in a very good condition and functionally designed.
Breakfast is good.

This hotel was definitely a pleasant surprise for my trip to Lisbon. I went there expecting an average 3* hotel. What I got was a hotel that in many ways is better than some 4* hotels I have visited. Where do I start from? First of all, the pictures I saw online do not do it justice. It is very spacious, especially the rooms. There was enough room for another two double beds in the bedroom. Extremely clean, comfortable, cosy... I felt welcome immediately. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive (from opening doors to calling the lift). The breakfast was modest but complete. I didn't feel that there was anything essential missing from the buffet. The swimming pool was very clean and a refreshing change in the summer but don't expect anything big. The lounge was also very nice and spacious. The hotel is located within walking distance to the city centre, but for those who like the easy ride, the Rato metro station is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the huge and modern Amoreiras shopping centre where you can find ANYTHING from cinemas to clothing to gelaterias. The ride between the airport and the hotel was more or less 20 minutes during day time and 15 minutes in the early hours. I recommend taking a taxi to the hotel from the airport due to the city's hilly structure (unless you're travelling extremely light). It costs 13 Euros per taxi using a voucher from the tourist information desk. My stay at the hotel was undoubtetly a great start to my visit in Lisbon. Definitely going back on my next trip to Lisbon.

I basically booked this hotel blind at the last minute and struck lucky with price, standard and location. An easy and direct bus ride from the airport, near to a main metro hub and near to good bus routes the hotel was in a good location. A tip though; if you have heavy bags take a cab as the hotel is up a bit of a cobbled hill from the bus and metro stops.

The lobby area is smart, the staff welcoming and informative. The ladies at the check-in desk went out of their way to arrange for me to see Fado (try it!) and managed to book me a table at a busy restaurant.
The rooms are bigger than average for this part of the world with decent bathrooms, satellite tv, mini bar (at reasonable prices) and an in room safe and hairdryer. Breakfast was a good and varied buffet with both hot and cold food with an abundance of fruits available. A taxi ride to the old quarter will cost less than 5 euros.

I enjoyed my stay here and would certainly return.
