This is not your usual hotel. It is located in a quaint, ancient building which was renovated nicely but retains some of the old charm in thick, wooden shutters, and other details. It is situated close to the old city, right next to the TimeOut...More

We stayed here for four nights in December 2017 - two adults and two teenagers in a room with two beds. Our stay was simply wondeful in all respects and, if I could, I would give this place six stars out of five.

Enjoy a cocktail, discover a jazz club, hit the dance floor or simply grab a beer and catch up with your friends in the street: Bairro Alto, Bica and Cais do Sodré are the core of it all. Amazing rooftops, restaurants, cafes, bars, art galleries, museums and theaters abound. Start off by admiring the river from the Santa Catarina belvedere, have a cocktail at PARK's rooftop bar, try a typical Portuguese steak, or
the fresh grilled fish, at Príncipe do Calhariz, and later explore the dozens of streets full of bars and clubs! Whether you're visiting for a day or a whole week, make sure you visit Bairro Alto and its surroundings.

We used Uber while in Portugal and so I am not sure about the parking situation. The road that the hotel is actually on is extremely narrow, but I did see street parking nearby. Plus, Time Out Market is across the corner, so I would think you would be able to find parking there as well. I would suggest contacting the property directly to get a better sense of their parking situation.
