At first I was concerned that the location of the hotel was too far away from the main city. This was quickly dispelled when finding we were a 5 minute walk to the metro. Being in the suburbs you have a more relaxed feel. Being an old school the decor reflects this...blackboards and unique carpet design. The staff are very... More

People working there are students of the Tourism. They were all very nice, helpful and always with a smile and that seems very simple but difficult to find and is something we really value a lot. On the other hand, the hotel has everything you expect from a 4 star, so very good.

When entering this hotel, you can almost hear the schoolbell ringing. The staff, friendly and helpful, very personal bring you to your "classroom" - everything is done very beautifully and with a playful cute style. The rooms are very beautiful and modern, but still personal. Small items from school, like a desk and a chair from those times blend in... More

First time in Lisbon and definitely pleased with the choice of hotel. After a €15 taxi ride from the airport, I was welcomed by very friendly staff at reception. I was given a lovely big room with a handmade bed and huge bathroom (with a bath and large shower cubicle). (Room 6). It did take me a moment to realise... More

A hotel in in old school, using the school as theme of decoration. What a lovely creativity. You just have to see it. Rooms are excellent with great facilities: luxury bathroom, quality amenities. Food was great: good healthy breakfast. Staff is super. And then the price: so much value for money. But indeed it is out of the center of... More

Part of the SLH brand, this is a kind of "lab" hotel, indeed attached to the hostelry school, most student are practising and learning on the job, nonetheless always under some expert supervision an they are very friendly and efficient. Fabulous staff, very willing to please. Breakfasts are simple but good quality, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs to order etc. The only down side was the bathroom which I had to climb into bath to have a shower, could not have a bath as plug did not sink down, the shower always leaked and so a sopping wet floor. Also... More

A few minutes walk from the office I was visiting made this an excellent choice, price too great at £52 per night. School theme. Showers in box in bedroom a little strange but building is listed. Comfy bed, large room, very helpful staff with excellent English. I'd stay again.

  • Massive Hästens beds! Amazing sleep!
  • A large writing desk and the lightings is good in all rooms.
  • Large bedrooms, simple decor, will be good to have a large selection of international magazines
