Had a great stay in Lisbon. The check-in was easy and friendly. The free snacks, coffee and tea were a nice touch. They also have an honesty bar for a nightcap, if you like. The library is a nice place to spend a quiet evening after a day of touring. Easy bus ride to city center, even though we usually...

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May. The property occupies renovated historic townhouses and includes a courtyard garden and a wonderful top floor library with rooftop terrace. Our room was large with double windows overlooking the courtyard and the Tagus River. All was spotless and beautifully decorated and the complimentary bottle of port was very welcome. The location...

This is not a five-star hotel in the regular sense, but it is a lovingly cared for and extremely well run property in a nice part of Lisbon. The lobby/waiting rooms are spacious and inviting, including a coffee/tea and snacks station near the ground floor lift which has comfy chairs and a good selection of international newspapers. Easy to while...

Had a lovely week staying here (May 2015). It's away from the bustle of the tourist centre, in the Lapa district (just back from the waterfront, which you can see from the 3rd floor library-cum-balcony). Staff were excellent, breakfast buffet superb, and the building a little haven. We had a first-floor [Superior] room overlooking the courtyard (so away from the...

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff. Bus stops very close. WiFi in room - very good. Good breakfast. Not far away was a food court with excellent food and food choices: Mercado da Ribeira. I would stay here again.

We stayed a week in Lisbon at Janelas Verdes and loved the library patio view and amenities and the helpfulness of the front desk in planning bus and tram routes, etc. The room was very comfortable and the daily refilled port wine decanter in the room very welcoming at the end of the day. Fine breakfast buffet (don't miss the...

Unfortunately we only stayed here for three nights and wish it was more! Hidden up side street you would not know it was there but once you went through the door it was just beautiful with lovely well equipped rooms and a hidden courtyard in which to enjoy a fabulous breakfast. The staff are well trained and helpful and recommended...

The hotel and the room are nicely furnished. Room was quite spacious. Their complementary coffee was pretty good, so were the tea selection. Make sure you check out the view from the library on 3rd floor, it's stunning.

Nice Honor bar..great lounge and patio upstairs with city/harbor view. Great service, great food. Room is a little older but good value for the price. We booked first night here and ended up back for our last night because the staff was so friendly and hotel was comfortable. Enjoy!
