Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your opinion about your experience with us. We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay and specially our helpful staff. Concerning our location, As Janelas Verdes is in a residential area of the triangle formed by the aristocratic and old Lapa district, the popular Bairro da Madragoa (adjacent to Bairro Alto) and...

Lovely hotel; all staff very hospitable and helpful; suite was quiet, comfortable, well maintained; public areas were similarly inviting and well furnished; garden courtyard was clean and well kept; self-serve breakfast was lovely range of continental and hot food; honesty bar and 'help yourself' system for drinks throughout the day and evening works really well; combination of facilities, service and...

A lovely hotel, looks nothing much from the outside, but step through the door and you enter another world. The reception staff are very good speaking English, but one got her left and right mixed up and we walked miles out of our way, only a small bilp. The decor is very charming, lovely comfy sofas and chairs dotted about. Breakfast...

Kind of small, friendly, well designed, well placed hotel that I will always recommend friends to go whenever they tell me they will visit Lisbon. Friendly staff, this hotel seems to be a retrofitted house of the XIX century, with comfortable (not large) rooms and welcoming lounge and a library with a view to the river. In doubt, don't hesitate,...

We had a very enjoyable three night stay in this elegant hotel. Every room is beautifully decorated and well maintained. In the bedroom there were nice touches with bath robes and slippers and not forgetting a decanter of complimentary Port! The beds were comfortable and supportive. Rather than create a mess in the bedrooms all the hot drinks and snacks...

Back in April we stayed 3 nights with old friends in this delightfully elegant hotel that In a previous life was the home of a well known writer. The rooms are spacious and include a large carafe of port which is refilled every day. Other features include a roof garden, spiral staircase and a library.so it's more like staying in...

We arrived late in Lisbon for our 15th anniversary trip from the USA. When we got there, we realized our room was 2 single beds. There was no way I would stay in separate beds for our anniversary. :) They gave us an upgrade and from there we were just wowed with everything. Free Porto every morning, amazing breakfast, impeccable...

Our first trip to Portugal and our travel agent booked us into this lovely property for our first three nights. A loving adaptation of a former aristocratic residence, the JV has beautifully appointed rooms, friendly 24 hour staff, and a marvelous 3rd floor (4th to us from the US) library with a terrace that looks out to the River Tagus....

The breakfast was excellent. They even had the classic custard tarts. The location is very good. The Museu de Arte Antiga is right next...
