What a great place to stay! Clean. Great staff! Walking tour was great - good history delivered by an enthusiastic guide. Dinner and drinks are very reasonably priced and tasty. Helpful staff. Great place to meet others. Would highly recommend this hostel. Centrally located too :)

Yes hostel is fantastic. The staff are incredibly cheerful and helpful, with a lot of character. You'll feel like friends with them by the end of your stay. You'll also meet and spend time with the other people here, as the hostel offers grest walking tours, a bar crawl, a social dinner and a tour to Sintra. The rooms are...

This was one of the best hostels I've stayed in while traveling. All of the staff is amazing and super friendly. Its in a great location and they offer dinner every night for 10 euros. The common area is great for meeting people and they also do free shot for everyone at 10PM.

Everything about the hostel was great! They had Nice showers and comfortabel dorms. The staff is very pleasent and the food is very good. My advice is to go on the pubcrawl and do the Sintra tour. Lisbon is a beautiful place to see and it has been a great stay thanks to Yes Lisbon.

I stayed at Yes, in Porto, and I booked this one as a package. The Hostel is central, and the rooms and bathrooms are great. However, the service is pretty crap. I first got there at 3:30PM, and they said the room is not ready. This is pretty terrible. When I tried to check in again at 5, the staff...

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
