I had the best experience in Lisbon which was made possible since this hotel was in the heart of the city. Most tourist attractions are just 5-10 mins walk. The neighborhood is beautiful and the room I was in was fabulous. The people in Lisbon are by far the most friendly and helpful people I have encountered and the same can be said of the hotel staff.
Fantastic location, very central city. It was my first time in Lisbon, and everything was so close by. Also, the staff were very amazing and nice. If you are looking for a place to stay in Lisbon, this is it.
This is the ideal hotel and location to stay in Lisbon. It's in the center of everything yet on a quieter small, hidden street. So much is in walking distance and public transportation is close by. The hotel itself is very charming. The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. Our room had a balcony with a view of the city and ocean. With the balcony doors open you can hear the city but once they're closed it's quiet and you don't hear a thing! I would definitely recommend staying here and will choose this hotel next time I'm in Lisbon. For a fair room cost, it feels luxurious!
This is our second stay at a Casual property, the first one was in Madrid. Just like that one this one gave us an exemplary experience. I have no clue what the reviewer from France is indicating but this place is legit, we just returned from there 3 days back. Firstly people, they are friendly and helpful at the desk and the room are just immaculately cleaned. Second is the build quality of the rooms and the beds, Casual Lisboa has just been renovated in 2020 hence the rooms are modern, tasteful and artfully furnished. The next aspect is the ease of communication, they are available via WhatsApp and super responsive- cannot say the same thing about Marriot's and Hiltons. The most important for our family was the availability of quadruple room, 3 beds to sleep our family of 2 teenagers. Last and the most important to most people is the location, it is diagonally opposite the most popular Bifana place in Lisbon- Alfonso. It is 10 mins walk in all directions to all major eats and sights. Cyril was a standout at the front desk giving a lot of tips. Minor improvements- they could only do heating and not A/C in the spring so we had to open the windows to let in the cool air given it was in 60's outside. They should also provide a basic water kettle and coffee machine, surely costs peanuts. Overall a 5 star experience for a great price and at a prime street, made our visit to Lisbon memorable.…
I can't believe that many commentators estimate this hotel is good. At first, the entrance was small, old and miserable. In the room, there were a lot of problems : The carpet was stained a lot and sale. I think it wasn't changed for a long time. I couldn't close tightly the cover of the bathtub because its size wasn't right. So when I tried to pick up it, I was very surprised to see that it had a lot of long hair. The fence of the bathtub was also broken. so whenever I used the shower, water was leaking on the floor. The dryer wasn't working well. Then , the salle of the breakfast was very cold. There were few things to eat. The coffee was not tasty and the water for tea wasn't hot. The photos of this hotel are very different from the real one. Despite these things, the price were very expensive. I regret not reserving another hotel. I can't recommend this hotel.…
Very good location (in the center of Lisbon with walking distance to many amazing places), super nice staff (Rita especially took so great care of me and my group), very spaces rooms and a lovely little Breakfast buffet in the morning. :)
We had fantastic short break in this lovely hotel in Lisbon for a family celebration in March 2022. Located In downtown Lisbon and close to most of sights, restaurants and shopping made it that much more convenient. The rooms were comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Staff, especially Rita and Carlos, were friendly and so helpful even before we arrived at the hotel. Nothing was too much for them, whether it was booking a restaurant, advising on trips and sights to see or arranging for flowers at short notice, they helped us with a smile. Thank you and obrigado all for a lovely break!
We stayed here during our weekend break in Lisbon in November 2021. We booked here because we liked the style of the hotel and had been recommended this part of Lisbon to stay in. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk from the castle, restaurants, main squares, shopping and the riverside. The staff were also really friendly. I've been learning to speak Portuguese and the staff were very patient and helpful with me! The room was very comfortable, albeit perhaps a little on the small side. My wife is pregnant and needed more time resting in the room than we would usually during a city break and we were really happy with how comfortable it was. I'd say the only negative would be the breakfast but I appreciate that's because I'm British and tend to prefer cooked breakfast options. There was some bacon and scrambled eggs each morning but not much choice. As for cold, continental style breakfast options, there was significantly more choice ranging from cheese, ham, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and pastries etc. E à equipe do hotel, obrigado por nossa estadia adorável na Lisboa.…
We stayed in Casual Belle in October of 2021. Loved the hotel, the hospitality and location was the best!! The hotel located right off the most touristy street between Placa de Commercia and Placa de Figoeria. The rooms are small when compared to American sizing, but had everything needed. The bed was the most comfortable ever and no street noise sinked in due to the sound proof windows. Carlos and Kirill were great hosts, who provided a lot of valuable insights and made us feel like home. They also have bigger rooms which would accommodate a family, so next time we will definitely consider getting a family room when we’ll travel with kids.
I was looking for a central hotel with a Portuguese and modern feel to sight see and be close to the main attractions in Lisbon. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. - Great staff who are kind - Clean and classical hotel with a unique Portuguese edge to it - Felt so luxurious for the price I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable yet relaxing stay - Central location close to the trains/trams We were on floor 3 and it was quiet. I would stay here again!
