I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, which was no problem since I had not much luggage. Even the small room was very nicely appointed, and thoughtfully laid out. They made good use of the space. The decor is like a magazine and such a treat. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was well appointed. The breakfast was AMAZING. The staff are really well trained, not stuffy, and seem to genuinely take pride in their work.

I picked this hotel for our stay during my first trip to Lisbon earlier this month. I was not disappointed! The reviews I read were 100% correct, this place is amazing. We got a free upgrade to our room and had a city view room which was a good size and clean and spacious. The bed was SO comfortable, I didn't want to leave! Our room had big windows that opened onto the main street with a balcony. When booking, I was concerned that it would be too noisy, but it was fine. The room was well appointed, lovely bathroom and toiletries, electric blinds and lots of plug sockets (in sensible places!!), and a smart t.v. The room had pastel de Nata in in every day (we ate way too many of these on our trip!) and the minibar was free (we had to call to room service to fill it each time because of covid). Breakfast was amazing - even my husband, who is very fussy, loved it. The other reviews were right (but I didn't realise how right until we go there): the location is perfect. It's a 10 min walk to the sea (you can see it as you come out of the hotel), opposite the hotel is a pharmacy where you can do your covid tests (there are also 4 others within 3-5mins walk if they don't have an appointment, but also loads of testing hubs around the city). The hotel is max 5 mins walk from all the big plazas/squares and about the same distance to the main shopping street/area. Believe me - you will not be disappointed with the location. It's also around the corner (3mins) from the elevator/viewing platform. The hotel staff are amazing and so helpful. We had to wait a while to check in, which wasn't great as I was feeling travel sick, but we sat in the lovely bar (where the drinks are amazing). In the evening (we stayed Friday - Sunday) there was an amazing love band called the Brothers who sang accoustic covers. Basically, the whole experience was amazing. I agonised over choosing this hotel over a H10 hotel, but didn't regret it at all, this hotel is top. I've recommended it to everyone I know and will definitely be staying again. Oh, and it's 15mins by taxi to the airport. Win.

Great location in the heart of Lisbon, walking distance to so many points of interests and so many great restaurants in the neighborhood. AMAZING breakfast buffet. The options are endless, and the quality of the food is so good. My friend and I were obsessed with the mushrooms. You can even make yourself mimosas. Accommodations and facilities are so clean. The softest linen and most comfortable pillows and beds among all the hotels we stayed in during our 10-day trip. The bathroom was luxurious as sometimes it seems bigger than the room itself. Two or three shower heads depending on the room. We also had welcome pastries (pastel de natas) upon arrival on our first day! The customer service is great, all the employees are so welcoming. Front desk even helped us book a tour. All of this offered at an affordable price point too. My friend and I were so happy with our stay at the beginning of our Portugal trip, that we booked one more night here to end our trip. The staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a city-view room on our last night for no extra cost. I highly recommend choosing Hotel da Baixa for your stay in Lisbon!

Lovely hotel, nice spacious rooms and good decor. The location was great- right next to the main tram and metro stops. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff at the hotel were really helpful- even helped us with the Portuguese websites we needed to use and printed tickets. We didn’t eat breakfast there as there were lots of lovely cafes nearby. Really nice touches like free water and Pastel da Natas in the hallway.
