Overall a good stay but the Duty manager never came forward to meet us in spite of the small hitches from 12th Nov. Holding 3 birthday parties - destination celebrations we could have got little more co-operation from the management. The guests flew over from Morocco, USA, UK, France, Canada, The Gambia & India. Nothing on the house except a small plate of fruits, a slice of cake and six chocolates which are even placed at the reception for the guests checking in. There was a mess up with one of our bookings and NO regrets. The guest had to be moved to another hotel and NO help from any of the staff to guide him. The FREE wine bottles are given to every guest checking -in. No complimentary pick-up or drop-0ff inspite of knowing that it is a milestone birthday for a guest and two additional birthdays.
Following are the names of the staff who made our stay comfortable.
Estefânia Cruz
Eliana Gonsalves & Leonardo Vences
Maria Pestana & Mafalda Costa
Carmo Fernandes
Iago Cepp & Alex Nogueira

HOTEL HOTEL will probably be our official base in Lisboa
Located in the chic district of Lisbon, a few minutes walk from the center, it is ideally located
The welcome and the staff are absolutely top notch (great behavior of the staff by the way)
The breakfast is delicious, fruit, fresh bread, cheese, fresh and quality products and it is included in the price of the room
We arrived on a very early morning flight and were welcomed like royalty with an extra breakfast. gracious even though we hadn't spent the night!
The decor and setting are really great, the restaurant room overlooks the swimming pool surrounded by vegetation
The hotel rooms are also great, we didn't find them that small, we had 305 which seemed perhaps a little larger than the others with a window overlooking the courtyard, other rooms have a view on the street with balconies and even some terraces overlooking the courtyard
The materials are very beautiful: marble shower room
The bedding is crazy
and the big one + an audio system which allows you to switch your music throughout the room as well as the bathroom
It's very simple, I don't see any black spots!
GO FOR IT!

It's a really lovely building with impeccable decor in a well located central spot in Lisbon. The interiors from the lobby to the cool bar and restaurant Animal and the exterior pool etc are just gorgeous.
The staff from front of house through to the restaurant and cleaning staff are all just so friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way every day to make us feel welcome. This is not the kind of cool hotel that sometimes can be intimidating - it's cool but also the staff make you feel so welcomed and did such a great job in advising and educating us about lisbon and to offer tips to make sure we had the best time.
We were given a room upgrade which was lovely as it was my birthday . Our room had a comfy well sized bed and a fantastic shower. There was complimentary water (i know it's a small thing but just makes life so much easier)!
I did a yoga session in the yoga studio which was a beautiful space and had a great teacher- i really appreciated getting to do a great class on holidays with zero hassle and in a stunning space.
Animal the restaurant is also brilliant - great menu for food and alcohol at really reasonable prices. We especially loved the broccoli and the burrata.
The breakfast buffet and ala carte was also a highlight. Beautiful selection of fruits and food to eat and then the most perfect eggs on request.
My partner said the coffees were amazing and i can attest to the hot chocolates being perfect.
Overall Hotel Hotel exceeded all our expectations with the amazing staff, beautiful decor and amazing restaurant- can't recommend this place enough if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Lisbon. We fell in with this beautiful city but also this fantastic hotel!

On a positive note, the location is amazing, so close to everything and the majority of the staff was really nice and willing to help us.
The last two nights we changed rooms and they gave us a 20% discount on one of the rooms due to the inconvenience and the downgrade for a new room. But getting money back or paying less was not our goal, we wouldn't have chosen this hotel if it was. We wanted to enjoy our vacation in a good hotel with something to say regarding design and service.
As a hotel and a business in general it is important to invest back in the property and continuously make changes to provide better facilities and services to your guests. O Hotel Hotel in Lisbon is not a hotel that should belong to the designed hotels and I would recommend staying somewhere else.
The breakfast is complete pastries, cake , cold cuts, cheese, fruit ,,, and an egg list , pancake , toast: really excellent!
There is lush garden where it is possible to have breakfast; the pool is superb.
The location is also ideal , 3 min walk from Rossio station (to go to Sintra), 1 min from Avenue de la liberté , 10 min from the Place du Commerce....
In the afternoon in the Hochsaisen in Lisbon without a room, I really don't begrudge anyone.
Not recommended!!!

The restaurant and bar are chic and photo worthy. The buffet breakfast offers limited options but is well worth it. Some of the items from the pre-fix menu are made to order. Bartenders are friendly and have good recommendations.
Pool area is luch with living walls of plants and flowers that make morning coffee very enjoyable.
They were inthe process of finishing up a yoga studio and also have a tattoo parlor in house! My only qualm is that there was no gym.
Finally, this hotel ir right off a main street which offers accessible walking to Barrio Alto, Alfama, and other desireable neighborhoods for those seeking adventure. Definitely give this hotel a try!
