I spent 3 nights here. The location is great for seeing the highlights of Lisbon. The hostel itself comfortable with lots of communal seating scattered about. Decor is tastefully funky. What was the most delightful was the very helpful and accommodating staff. Every one of the 4-5 that I encountered went beyond expectations to help with details of Lisbon and...

My husband and I stayed in the 1979 room (private double room, private bath) and we can't say enough good things about this hotel experience. Room was huge and clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot with great water pressure. The employees at the front desk were super helpful with how to get places and local recommendations. The hostel is...

Super nice place! I stayed for a night in may 2016 and it was a wonderful experience in every respect. The whole package was just right: Booking on their website was super easy and when I asked for a short-term change of my booking, my request was complied without any fuss. Their website gives you a good idea of the...

Clean rooms in a good location. One shared bathroom between three rooms was inadequate. Rooms were extremely hot, and opening window overnight not possible due to noise levels. Ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom, and now shower head holder

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lisbon Calling. It was clean & the kitchen was great for cooking dinners. The staff are extremely friendly, and full of insightful suggestions for activities and sites in the city & nearby. Quinta Regeleira in Sintra was one of the highlights! I would definitely stay at Lisbon Calling again.

Room was large, airy, clean, well decorated, and just had a very luxorious feel to it. We were in our own little wing with the double rooms which came with it's own shower (amazing water-pressure) and kitchen. Though we did use the other kitchen when we wanted to be more social, and everyone staying and working there was insanely friendly...

You will receive a warm welcome into this quirky hostel, every turn shows a new intriguing design detail (upside down paintings, apples that light up to tell you when the bathroom is in use!) this is a hostel like no other! Perfectly located for exploring Lisbon, and amazing value! When you arrive you may think you have the wrong address...
