Loved it here- very flexible with me when my travel plans changed. Nice traditional breakfast and comfortable rooms. Loved the breakfast room with the window seats. Central location and easy to get around.

4 of us stayed in the Mar apartment for 5 days at the begining of October. We really enjoyed it and found it to be excellent value. We arrived late on a Friday night but the receptionist was very accomodating and gave us a quick tour and description of the room and breakfast options, times etc. The room was very...

If you're looking for 5* luxury with a spa, restaurant and private bathroom, you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for friendly staff, a central location from which to explore Lisbon and a relaxed atmosphere, step inside!! Just off Rossio Square is the small green door of Lisbon Story Guesthouse, behind which as basic but clean rooms, shared but...

Our economy room was very simple but it had all basic things you need - mattress and pillows were good, enough storage room, very good views to the square in front of the guesthouse and basic breakfast. The front room gets noisy though in the morning (garbage cars). Very clean.

Great location off Rossio Square. I stayed in two different rooms, both classified as superior. The "Escritor" on the 3rd floor was particularly nice and spacious, with windows on two sides with a great view of the theater and the square. The hotel was clean and the bathrooms appeared well maintained. However, towels provided were dingy and the bath mats...

This is very much a hostel. Shared bathrooms etc. Breakfast is very basic and not great quality. Some nice fruit and some pastries would make a difference. Their is no air con and the temperature was stifling. They don't change the bedding or towels unless you ask. We did and it still wasn't. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Area...

We loved staying at the Lisbon Story Guesthouse! The location is incredible, right next to Rossio Square. We booked a room with a private bathroom, which meant we had to climb 65 steep stairs to the very top floor, next to the rooftop terrace. It was quirky and lovely, so much character. The staff (Hibeka in particular) was absolutely wonderful....
