Hotel White Lisboa: Your oasis in the heart of the city There are many reasons for "White" to be chosen as the name of the hotel as well as the basis of our identity. Associated with joy in the Western culture, “White” is also called the "color of light" because it results from the union of all the light rays providing full clarity. This hotel stay was the worst part of our visit to Lisbon. Apparently the hotel doesn't allow customers to adjust the AC level in their rooms - it's all managed at the front desk. They didn't inform us of this until our last night there and the manager happended to be work that night. After the first sweltering hot night, we took a picture of the AC settings and showed it to the front desk to confirm it wasn't user error. We were told our settings were correct but the front desk associates didn't inform us that the issue was that they were controlling our settings. When we informed the front desk during our last night - hoping to get one night of comfortable sleep - the manager then informed us that they control the AC settings for all rooms and that perhaps our settings were on heat. This was an insult to our intelligence since we clearly showed their agents a picture of our settings on the first night and we were told they were correct. The manager offered to decrease our temperature by one degree to help out but that was all she could do. She said this as if it were a favor when we were sweltering hot in our room. It was literally cooler outside than in the room. Also, there were two flies in our shower and bugs in my bed. We could literally dismiss the bugs if only our AC had worked and we hadn't had to suffer every night of our stay. The customer service here is terrible and it's not worth any discounted price you may pay!

Well I don’t know what to say… everything was perfect. From the amazingly warm welcome of the staff to the amazingly beautiful room… This was our home for 3 days and the only thing I must say is that it was so short that I miss this place so badly that I almost cried coming to my real home! The staff is amazing, kind and really available for any advice or help. They speak many languages. The pool is open even really late at night it’s pretty rare for hotels. The pool is really cold I heard it was the Portuguese way to enjoy a pool so we dealt with it ! The solarium is heaven on earth. The breakfast is so good, and they have so many options (gluten free, lactose free and halal). Ideally located on the direct line to the airport it’s so convenient to leave your luggage there once you’ve checked out and then come back and get them just before leaving. That’s what we did and it was so much easier to enjoy our last day in the city center with no huge luggage (especially on those Lisbon pavements 😛). Muito Obrigada Hotel White Lisboa

We spent 4 nights at this hotel while visiting Lisbon, and it was delightful! Very nice and personable staff, fast check-in/check-out. We stayed in a superior double room on the 6th floor. The room was quiet, spotlessly clean, modernly furnished, with a flat-screen TV. No city view, unfortunately. The room had a cozy, small seating area near the large windows. Very comfortable bed/pillows. The bathroom was modern & spotlessly clean. Toiletries provided. Daily room housekeeping. Excellent, free wi-fi. Coffee maker, free bottled water, little chocolates, and apples in the room. Good continental breakfast in a nice ambiance. Spending time by the poolside on the 9th floor during the day and after dark, while admiring the city view was definitely the highlight of our stay here. The location is great, in the center of Saldanha, within 10 minutes walking distance from the Gulbenkian Museum. Close to metro station, organic grocery store, retail stores, and nice restaurants, too. Will stay again at this hotel, recommended!

I stayed 3 nights at this posh and beautiful hotel in June 2021. The hotel staff were very welcoming and nice I'd like to point out especially Pablo who assisted me and recommended me about places to visit and how to get there. My room was beautiful, spotless and well designed with a big window overlooking the Republic Ave. The bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. I also loved that the TV was part of the mirror and the lighting of the room, all very minimalistic. The bathtub and shower were big and the shower head was good with strong water pressure which was very nice. You get a bottle of water and some chocolate complimentary upon arrival and a new bottle of water every day. The location is great right next to the metro stop in the center of Saldanha with many shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was great due to Covid-19 measures you have to order from the waiter and he severs you whatever you ask for. The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop pool overlooking the city, beautiful views morning and night. Pity it was cold at the time and I only used it once. Overall very good and pampering hotel in great location and great service. Can't wait to book again.

An ideal hotel to stay in during a pandemic - the hotel was super-clean and their Covid precautions very thoughtful. We loved the decor which was very stylish and attractive. The staff were very helpful. Very convenient for Lisbon’s excellent metro system. A lovely place to stay.
