We spent a weekend at the hotel as part of a large group. We were happy with the room and the staff but were disappointed with the food. The room was clean, modern and spacious. There was a small fridge that served as a mini-bar. The bathroom had a double sink and a nice walk-in shower. Secure parking is available in two underground levels, served by elevators. Wi-fi is free (unsecured network) and worked well. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, at the desk, the bar and the dining rooms. The breakfast buffet was reasonable, with a variety of cooked and cold options. We ate two dinners and one lunch at the hotel and were disappointed with the variety and the standard. The buffet contained many of the same options for all three meals, with a little variety in the hot entree options. The vegetables were of the frozen variety that were too soft and tasteless. Rather than Portuguese food, the restaurant seems to provide more of an international menu. The food was the only disappointment for us during our stay.…
Location closed to the Sanctuary. Service very good. Big rooms clean and quite. I will be back to this hotel. Very pleasant stay at a very rasonable price and the best for meeting and big groups. Just one little note for wifi that must be empowered.
Very terrible experience. The room Is dusty and unclear. The safety box is broken and cannot be used. The refrigerator is off and empty. The food has very low quality. 4 stars? May be 2. Chose a different place
Lovely hotel, beautiful, clean and easy closed by walking access to the Fatima Sanctuary. Our room was very clean, with modern furnishings. Their meals were very tasty and enjoyable a breakfast. Thanks to all the staff.
The waiters at breakfast were like the Gestapo. They continually checked on us like we were captives. Both breakfast and dinner were disappointing given the little range of food. The bedrooms were old.
We stayed here for a three day trip to the shrine of Fatima, and were very happy with the choice of the Cinquentenario. The rooms were all nicely furnished, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was almost a highlight in itself - plenty of choice, and the staff (who all seemed to speak several languages) were always happy to help or cater for a particular requirement. The hotel is well located, around ten minutes walk from the shrine itself, though is not on a main road so there is little if any traffic around to keep you awake. Very much recommended, I will certainly be staying here again for my next trip!
The hotel was really good. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The staff were really courteous and helpful. The restaurant and the food were outstanding. The front reception was well. We had come as a group and they were quick and efficient in handing out the room keys. Overall 4/5
We are family of 4 reserved 2 connected double rooms at Hotel Cinquentenario. - Perfect location very close to Fatima sanctuary, less than 2 blocks. - Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. - Free secure private parking. - Outstanding buffet breakfast with hot food. - Good Wi-Fi. - Pleasant helpful staff ready for any questions and speak several languages. - Provided us with Fatima maps, directions, and pilgrimage information. - Many nice restaurants across the street. - Many souvenir shops around including one in the hotel itself.. . - Good value for money, no wonder we saw several tour groups there. In summary we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
This is by far one of the best hotels in Portugal. The food was excellent and I wish I could stay here longer. The fish wasn't so great however it's the local fish I guess. The wine was also very good.
This hotel is located in a very quite street in the center of Fatima. I enjoyed the stay there. The breakfast was standard for a 4 star hotel. The restaurant has a very poor choice of dish of the day, that they called it ‘buffet’, only two dishes., at a non-expensive price, but they can do bettter. It has a closed basement parking, that is a Joni’s for traveling with car.
