Hotel Aleluia - Fatima, Portugal Excellent hotel. Just like being home with family. Staying at this hotel is one of the better experiences we had while traveling. We arrived very late at night, past midnight, and we were met by the owner herself. She helped bring our heavy luggages and gave us a real warm welcome. In the morning, we went for breakfast which was real wholesome. There were several good selections of pastries, eggs, and of course great coffee. It’s almost the same as what are served by the big American branded name hotels that we have stayed in other European countries. The owners are wonderful and speak English very well, having lived and traveled in the U.S. The front desk staff members also speak English extremely well and were always kind and helpful…

If arriving by bus this hotel is ideal - just a few minutes walk from bus station - and it is right across the street from the church complex. On the Sunday morning it was lovely to have the sun streaming into the room and hear the choral music coming from the church. We arrived around noon but the receptionist mostly kindly allowed to check in. We then had a delicious lunch downstairs in the hotel. For 12.50 Euro we got hot soup, bread, drinks (wine, water, coffee, juice) , a selection of multiple mains from the buffet, and desert. The pudding was exceptionally good. I wish I had asked what kind of pudding it was. The room was small and simple but comfortable and had everything one could need. It had a small balcony. The bathroom was large and modern. Everything…

We arrived at the hotel 1.45 pm approx and immediately heard hammer drilling coming from the upper floors while we were checking in at the reception. It's unfortunate that the hotel has not posted on their website any details of this. What looks to be happening is construction of a new floor added to the top of the hotel. After checking in we went for a walk to the Shrine looked around the town and returned to the hotel at 5.45 pm we had been told by the owner the noise would stop at 5.00pm but it was still noisy with machines. We asked to check out and asked for our breakfast money back, we were willing to take a loss on the nights hotel fee, but all credit to the owner she offered a full refund. We left and drove back to our apartment in the The Algarve. The hotel is in a…

If you travel here by bus, this hotel is very handy: a five minute walk just up the street. It’s also literally across the street from the basilica. It’s clean and the bed is better than average for Portugal. We like queen size and they have some here. A note of caution: the walls are thin. We were fine on Friday and Sunday nights, but Saturday was busy and I needed to put a YouTube white noise video on for eight hours to cover the hall noises and the guy snoring next door.

This hotel is just steps away from the Fatima Sanctuary. The double room we had was small but cosily furnished and very comfortable. The price was very reasonable and included secure parking and good WiFi. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that but there are many restaurants and bakeries close by. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the local attractions. We had an excellent stay here and would recommend it for being an excellent value in such a good location.

Lovely staff at the Hotel Aleluia! The lady who checked us in was especially accommodating and helpful. We also treasured our stroll to Aljustrel, Valinhos and the Cabeco. Very peaceful, prayerful and beautiful.

Stayed here on our visit to Fatima. Firstly location as others have said is the best. Our room was excellent. It was spacious and very clean. Bedding was very good also. The bathroom was quite large with good water pressure. There is no mini bar in the room. I am not sure what people want for breakfast but we found it to be very good with a great selections and good coffee. Cant go wrong for 5 euro PP Staff were really nice and gave good directions to the Stations of the Cross which are about 15 minutes walk away from the hotel but worth the effort. Overall highly recommend this hotel

The hotel has an ideal location. It on the walk up to the shrine and the church on the hill as well as opposite a huge round church with many chapels and a terrific museum. Good restaurants are in walking distance. Joining the evening candle light procession is so uplifting. But it can get quite cool and windy, so it is good to be back at the hotel quickly.

The Hotel Aeluia in Fatima has 50 rooms. The hotel is ideally located at the entrance to the shrine and to the Church of the Holy Trinity. We were present on the 100th anniversary of the Marian apparition in May 2017. The prices were atrociously inflated during this time. Well, Yes, the Pope is not every day coming to Fatima and reportedly half a million worshipers were present at the ceremony. The hotel has a free underground parking garage, that presents a huge advantage on weekends. The rooms are comfortably furnished, They are sufficiently spacious. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is a bit narrow. The free WIFI worked perfectly. Lacking were a safety deposit box and a kettle for making tea and coffee. The room as the bathroom room was perfectly clean. The…
