This is a fine hotel in Estoril, about a 25 minute walk along the boardwalk to Cascais. Unless you are there for gambling at Casino Estoril ( a 10 minute walk ), this city is relatively quiet. But if that’s what you want - a chill holiday, then, Estoril might be just the ticket. The hotel is up a hill, a 10 minute walk to the beach. The train to/from Lisbon is a 15 minute walk, but with luggage, 20 minutes, as the walk is all on uneven cobblestone ( a bit over 3/4 of a mile ). The buffet breakfast, while not outstanding, is perfectly suitable. I was here a week and the WiFi was superb. Overall, this is a solid property, and I would definitely return. In the small park in Estoril center, directly adjacent, is an excellent pharmacy, and you can also get Covid antigen tests there - 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

I emailed before booking around COVID regulations and got a clear and quick response and also confirmation of my bed preference was straight back. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised with an early check in at 12.30 and a welcome drink from the bar. The standard double room was spacious with lots of wardrobe space, fridge and good aircon. On the downside the bathroom was a little tired and probably in need of a refresh. The shower especially with a hand held hose. Also there was no tea or coffee in room so you had to buy it at the bar. My room was facing the road so there was a little bit of traffic noise. There is a nice pool and garden area which when I stayed at the end of August was never busy and you always had a choice of loungers. The hotel bar has a nice terrace seating area over looking the pool ideal for a couple of drinks late afternoon. The bar staff were really nice. In fact all the staff were helpful including reception printing off some documents I needed for my flight home. Also storing my luggage after I checked out. Breakfast was buffet style and was quite busy sometimes running out of items but it had all the basics. The location is perfect with only a 5 min walk downhill to the beach. There is a small supermarket around the corner for any essentials and an ATM across the road. The 418 bus that goes directly to Sintra stops also just around the corner and takes 45 mins. (I highly recommend visiting). In summary it was a nice stay and if looking to stay in Estoril near the beach then this is perfect.

Just an overall nice experience while I attended my friends wedding in Estoril. Pleasant hotel, with nice receptionists. The hotel was a very quality 3 star in a great location. A glass of wine at the bar was 2 euros 60 cents , and I must say this made my heart rejoice. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We only stayed one night but it was very pleasant . The staff was nice , breakfast was okay but nothing special and the pool area/ garden was also fairly good . We had some problems with our bathtub but the staff quickly solved it . Very worth it for the price!
