A week in Monte Estoril staying at Hotel Londres was absolutely perfect!
The hotel was filled up with people with different nationalities and all the employees were ALWAYS friendly, helpful and smiling.
The hotel has a good atmosphere and is cozy!

I am staying with a group of 19 students. We have been accommodated in just about every way. Luggage storage upon arrival. Quick easy check in process. Multi lingual staff. Clean rooms. Shampoos and soaps provided. Comfortable beds. Nice pool. Great lounge area and bar....More
Handy spot for Estoril and Cascais.
Good facilities and charming staff.
Comfy bar with reasonable prices.
Delicious buffet breakfast.
5 minutes walk to the beach and railway station.
10 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and Estoril Casino.
The Hotel is Spotless, including the bedrooms and the Pool area is small but very pleasant and again, spotlessly clean.
Happy to recommend for either a short or long stay. Found the staff helpful and the rooms very well equipt including USB ports.
Just a short walk to local beaches and the railway station with regular trains to Cascais, and a good choice of restaurants all less than 10 minutes away on foot. Rooms were clean, and traffic noise was minimal, despite the road outside being quite busy....More

We were by car and used the railroad between Estoril and Lisbon more than once. The train departs/arrives at “Cais do Sobrè” railway station. To get there from the airport, I recommend the subway. Take it to Alameda station on the Red Line (the one you get on ,automatically,). Change there for the Green Line that will bring you (given you take it in the right direction 😉) straight to Cais do Sobrè. Easy and cheap.
If you are planning on visiting Lisbon from Estoril, we recommend you take a multi day traveling ticket. It’s available through ticket machines, but better check at a ticket office, since the ‘explanations’ on the machines aren’t that clear in English...
In my recollection these tickets come in a 1 day version (not all that interesting, since I guess you won’t be making the trip forth and back more then 1 time in a day), a 3 days version and a 7 days one.
The former remarks about the walk between Estoril train station and the hotel are correct : +/- 10 minutes walk, towards the hotel fairly steep uphill by moments with poor sidewalks.
