Recently stayed at Colina Flora B&B, Pé da Sera, Colares, Portugal in the rural hills of the Sintra Natural Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We stayed for a week in the Rose cottage and our hosts Aasta and James could not have been more helpful and accommodating whilst at the same time leaving us to enjoy the peace...

James and Aasta are such wonderful hosts who thought of every little detail to make our holiday so relaxing and beautiful. The fresh, homemade healthy breakfast each morning was delicious. We ate in a sun filled dining room with gorgeous tableware where James was on hand to give advice and suggestions about the best places to hike. We were given...

A great spot to stay for a few nights. Beaches, countryside and historic sites are all close by. I had a car but used it only occasionally. Sintra is near by and can be reached by a quiet road from the house. Equally you can walk to the village or down to the sea fairly easily and there are numerous...
