VillaCascais guesthouse is truly a gem in Cascais. Located at the heart of the travel district in downtown Cascais, steps from the train station and the water, it could not have a better location. I remember specifically not booking an ocean view room, however, when we arrived we found that, due to the location, I think pretty much every room...

This 11 room hotel in right on the harbour. We loved it. From the reception, the rooms, the breakfast, the staff, the outside balcony bar, the stunning inside bar complete with 40+ wines in optics and the restaurant... this Hotel is fabulous. We stayed for a week.We had a deluxe seaview room which was great. Be warned though the Hotel...

I am not sure why it’s called a guesthouse as it seems like a boutique hotel to us. At any rate, it’s a 8 rooms hotel/ guesthouse in a historical building on a corner at the main square in Cascais facing the sea. The color tone is deep blue – a color we love, and brass floor. The reception is...

Villa Cascais Guesthouse is a wonderful boutique hotel located directly on the harbor . The staff are very friendly and welcoming. This is my 5th visit to this hotel in a 12 month period so obviously it's doing something right, at least for me. I love room 360, this room is essentially the entire top floor of the building with...

If in Cascais do like us. Go to VillaCascais and enjoy the surroundings, sublime food and service. I had the turbot and had difficulties getting my arms down. Next time in Portugal I will consider staying in this cosy guesthouse at the beach and in the middle of town.

We had the "green room" which was a nice size with an equally nice ensuite bathroom. VillaCascais is in a great location, our room overlooked the small beach and fishing marina, within a few meters walk is a coastal path that takes you to Estoril. The area of Cascais is lovely with lots of nice walks and some stunning architecture....

Stayed here 3 nights in room 3 which overlooked the sea, very spacious, clean, elegant room, Staff were amazing, the personal touch that you don't get in large hotels. Bar and restaurant were great and the food was good.

The location is awesome - you are right on the beach, with many restaurants and stores nearby. Parking is a little "iffy" since they only have 4 spaces available. We had the nicest room in the place - windows overlooking the water, elevator access, good size. Unfortunately, they decided that being trendy was more important than being functional. Here's what...

We stayed at Villa Cascais for a week in October 2016. Perfectly situated by the harbour and with the town centre a few minutes away, the elegant building has immediate appeal. The modernised interior is stylish and harmonious. Room 1 where we stayed was large and comfortable but the deep blue walls, shutters and ceiling, relieved only by white bedding...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A unique villa in the centre of a special village. Once an aristocratic residence of the 19th century, today a small luxury guesthouse with 11 luxurious rooms located on the Bay of Cascais, in the historical centre and next to the Fisherman's Beach. VillaCascais is where you can enjoy the magic of Cascais, the small houses, narrow alleyways, cobblestone pavements, the smell of the sea and the faded lights... everything that characterizes this village. This charming guesthouse offers elegant accommodation, with a mix of modern and vintage decor. VillaCascais features fine outdoor dining providing guests with stunning views of the bay and the village. The restaurant - Reserva by Olivier - has strong Portuguese influences, based on the best quality national ingredients. An expansive drink by the glass wine list, carefully hand-picked, gives it its distinctive character. Transfers from and to the Lisbon airport can be arranged on request. The Cascais Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. ... more   less
