The same story as in Tomar - Coimbra railway station doesn't have lockers. And this is a problem if you' re traveling with (heavy) backpacks. So we asked the receptionist in this hotel if they could hold our backpacks. Of course they did't it and with no charge. Thanks again, hotel Braganca.

We were only staying in Coimbra for the one night, so the hotel's location was what appealed. Straight across the road from the railway station makes it very convenient for this kind of stop. From here it's a short walk to the main pedestrian walkways and up the hill to the university. It is an older hotel but I didn't...

Braganca is an old world Hotel, as soon as you step in it takes you back to the 70's. The staff at the Hotel seem like they are from the 70's too. The Hotel is clean and well maintained, the rooms very spacious (mine was a family room). Also, they serve a good breakfast in large dining room. The location...

Rooms are very old (shabby). Please do not get cheated with rooms shown on the website. Patches coming out of the room walls, sliding windows does not close/open properly. Bad and untidy door curtains. Bathroom door does not slide properly. Front desk customer service agents do not know ABC of customer service. Ignorant , arrogant and understaffed. I have read...

You get what you pay for. The rates are reasonable, the location fine. The hotel is obviously an older property but that's OK. The rooms are clean, the linen OK. I would not stay for more than a couple of nights. Our group of 55 people was there for one night. The key problem with the hotel is the staff....

Stayed here for 3 nights. We had a quiet 4th floor room. Service is excellent but the quality of breakfast food could be improved; especially the coffee. Location is next to train station but didn't hear any train noises. Bus for Conimbraga is right at the corner and lots of restaurants nearby without going up the hill. Great value for...

Right downtown, perfect for someone that want to stay in the heart of the city. Next to the train , to the shops and not to far from the different places to visit in this beautiful town. Staff polite, place was clean and a nice breakfast. Just to park the car was not to convenient.

From the exterior, this hotel doesn't look the best, but once you enter it is a very well-kept, dignified older hotel. Very helpful staff, air conditioning and breakfast included. Rooms are large- lovely brass bead heads but hard beds, large bathroom with bath and shower. Great location and value for money!

t's an old 3 star hotel, it was almost empty when we were there, but it didn't matter because we liked it! The location is good, it's just outside the train station, and staff is very kind. Our double room was clean, there was no noise outside. We didn't need anything else. There was a breakfast for extra 4 euros, but...

I stayed at this older hotel in an older part of Coimbra next to the Coimbra A trainstation. It had a special charm befitting the area's nearby streets that date from the Middle Ages.My room was very comfortable and large with modern amenities. The staff communicated well with me in English and was very helpful. The breakfast was very good and generous.I paid...
