Heritage building facing the mondego river bank and plaza. Price: Its perfect if you are on budget. (Approx 30-35 euro for a double room/night). Location: 400 m distance (5 min walk) from Coimbra train station. Central location to visit all attractions by foot. Rooms: are clean but not sound proof. So, rooms facing the plaza can get little noisy for...

This hostel is a bit old but very clean. The price and the location are other two good characteristics. If you add also a free parking close to the hostel...then it is the perfect place where to stay in Coimbra. I will repeat for sure

This Residencial is older than the city itself I think :-)! It's furnished in a really old fashioned way, breakfast is quite poor, but it's right in the middle of the city which makes it good for visit the city on foot.

Previous reviews have said almost enough... but, breakfast is no longer available, neither included nor paid separately. For the 81 year old owner who has operated this place for nearly 60 years, nor the daughter who runs it and because guests want more than bread and coffee, they have done away with it completely. No problem, Cafe Montanha is downstairs,...

The rooms in this old hotel are nice and very clean. We stayed on the second floor and had a bedroom and seperate livingroom and shower. Our daughters only had a bedroom with shower. Both with AC. The rooms were at the frontside of the hotel and were quiet. The wifi is free but a little poor signal. There was...

You could not ask for a better location from a hotel in Coimbra. Literally right on the main cafe square you walk downstairs and out the door into the hustle and bustle of downtown life. About 600 metres from the train station and next to bus stops it is exceptionally easy to get to and prices even in summer were...

The room was not fancy but spacious and clean, and overlooked a popular and attractive square at the foot of the hill where the old university is located. Despite the location, the room was a quiet oasis. The only drawbacks were a lack of elevator, and no dedicated parking. There was public parking across the street near the river, but...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel two nights. Everything worked perfectly: the location of this hotel is superb for exploring the city on foot, rooms were very clean and the staff extremely kind and friendly. There are cheap parkings immediately close to the hotel or free public parkings a few hundred meters far. The hotel is not luxurious...

We stayed at the Hotel Larbelo in Coimbra and this hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the square across the street from the river. It is about a 5 minute walk from Coimbra A train station, which was perfect as we took the train from Lisbon, and is along the main shopping district in Coimbra’s old town. The...
