We were really happy to have found Casa Morais. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the warm hospitality of Rosa and Palmyra. The restored guesthouse is authentic and charming yet modern and very clean. The room and bathroom were very spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jam and fruit from the Casa's gardens. The guesthouse...

Rosa and Palmyra are lovely people who do a superb job running their guesthouse. It's easy to find, there's ample parking, and the centre of Coimbra is a short drive away. Casa Morais itself is a cosy and spotless little place. Our room at least was in great shape and everything was in perfect order. Breakfast was simple but generous....

This is a cleverly converted farmhouse which has been in the family of the two sisters who run the guest house for more than 100 years. There have been many reviews of the quality of service provided by the two sisters, Rosa and Palmyra. It is pleasing to be able to report that it is all true and continuing. They...

Casa Morais was a perfect location with excellent accommodations at an incredibly...

Rosa and Palmyra are very welcoming, speak excellent English and know a lot about Coimbra. They have restored their grandparents farmhouse into a very comfortable bed and breakfast. It is right next to the village church but don't worry the bells stop ringing at 11pm!

There were three women welcoming us who were very nice and helpful. They gave us recommendations on restaurants and touristic attractions. The house is lovely. Nice rooms and bathrooms and a separate living room. They had a really nice garden (it was small) where you could walk around. The breakfast was delicious! They prepared everything fresh. When we departed they...

Just 5 km from Coimbra. The owners are friendly and helpful. We were traveling with family and booked all the seven rooms. We could use the kitchen and dinning room for the meals. The house is very well restored and furnished. It was a very plesant stay.
