Really enjoyed my stay here. It's a great location, central but quiet, overlooking the canal. Rooms are lovely with plenty of plug sockets. Good wifi. Strong, hot shower. And a large and varied buffet breakfast. Would stay again.

Really enjoyed our 3 night visit. Front desk staff very helpful about parking etc. Piano bar was a lovely event each evening and the breakfast buffet was wonderful with smiling staff who pleasantly accommodated wishes for cappuccino etc.

As said, the scenic position of this hotel is unbeatable. I had a room looking to the nearby river, lovely at sunrise. Professional staff, nearly all of them speaks English. Great bar, even if I just have enjoyed the welcome drink (Porto or sparkling wine) The room was nice and clean, had two issues, with a burnt lamp, promptly substituted,...

The modern-styled hotel overlooking the canal is a real beauty, very clean and comfortable, being somewhat off-season we even got parking eight in front of the entrance. Excellent service, the barman did a great job entertaining us with a wonderfully prepared G&T. The buffet breakfast is amazing, such a variety and richness in choices!!!

Room was spacious and clean. Furnishings felt a bit dated. Bathroom was large, with double sinks. Hallways were quite dark, but lights turned on as we walked down the hall. Buffet breakfast was good. Complimentary glass of port wine and ovos moles, a local pastry, was offered anytime on the arrival date. Reception staff were extremely helpful. The pretty town...

We stayed for three nights in this hotel. It is perfectly located, across the street from the gardens and the canal where all the moliceiro boat rides begin. Although it's a busy street during the day, everything quietens in the evening and we were never disturbed by noise, although we had a 1st floor room facing the street. The hotel...

Hotel was fine and the location was really good, but just a word about the lady who laid out the breakfast with such pride and professionalism in the morning. The best layout we saw on our tour of Portugal, give that lady a pay rise!

Excellent location on the river, with friendly staff and 4 star room. This hotel is a good value and could not be easier to get around town in foot. Modest breakfast included in our room rate was okay, but the real pleasure was the river facing superior room, with lovely decor and spacious bath.
