The concept of this hotel is great, but the execution is lacking. We were on a family vacation so we had the chance to see both the suites and bungalows. In our opinion there is no reason to stay in the suites, as they are inconveniently placed and you don't get the comfort of the garden around the bungalows. The... More

Stayed here 7 days in a bungalow. Although acceptable, they could be so much better. Furniture and fittings need replacing, functional but dated. However, one of the best beds we have ever slept in, really comfortable and and great nights sleep every night. Surounding gardens lovely, pool good, wi fi available in 3 areas. Breakfast fair but not exceptional. Their... More

I am not sure if all the rooms are the same but we stayed in a room that was so huge it was more like a suite. It had a huge queen sized bed, a dining table & 6 chairs, small lounge with TV and a large bathroom and balcony with table and chairs. Amazing for the price. The room... More

Don't go here if you expect modern decor and luxury, go here if you expect friendly staff, clean rooms and and beautiful enviroment. We stayed in one of the bungalows, with a small kitchenette (enough for basic cooking, with coffeemaker, microwave, fridge and small freezer), a small living room, bedroom and bathroom. And a small garden (with beatiful views). The... More

We booked this hotel for the last night of our week in Sao Miguel as it is very quick to drive to the airport and we hadn't visited the North West of the island. To be honest I didn't research it very carefully, except to see it had good reviews, and when it came to choosing a room it was... More

We stayed for two nights in one of the bungalow. The furnitures are a bit old in the living room (the armchair and the couch needs to be changed) but the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice. We enjoyed being able to cook our dinner and enjoy our meal outside our bungalow on the little garden table. The... More

I echo the previous reviewer. I can't believe that this only got 3 stars. We stayed in the bedrooms in the main building of this enchanting old plantation, I would suggest for the extra price over the cabins this is definitely worth it! The bedroom was enormous and overlooked rolling green hills and the ocean with a terrasse walkout. Inside... More

It was very enchanting. When you first walked in it was bright with large windows, cozy furniture, and felt like home. The beds were warm and soft. Very clean kitchen and bathroom with shower tub Spanish style bathroom. Equipped with everything you need.It was like a Spanish timeshare with your own individual bungalow. including WiFi, swimming pool bar, restaurant, encased... More

There is no doubt that the old house with rooms in this place is very beautiful, but the bungalows that are around lack character and are well dated. I guess that are suitable for families, since they have a living room and a small kitchen area, but could do with a bit of an uplift. The service was not brilliant... More
