did not stay at the hotel, but ate there regularly. the food is the best around, staff always ready to help. the view from the tables outside is hard to beat, with a clean line of sight to the mighty pico mountain. sitting there and having a drink when the sun sets became one of our favorite pastimes while on...

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights while on the island of Pico. The room was very clean and although small, we didn't spend much time there but to sleep. During the day we toured the island. And when we were there, we spend time at the tables outside the restaurant or in the restaurant itself. Everyone was...

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we did eat at the attached restaurant - awesome food, good price, great service. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice in a 6 day trip! The pasta carbonara was our favorite dish.

We stayed for two nights. the room was very small but spotless and adequate. The sean and harbour view means you also are over the outside bar area and the coast road - so expect some noise. We found it acceptable and it didn't go beyond 10.30 or so. Self serve juice, coffee, cereals, breads for breakfast, lunch and dinner...

I went in August 2012 with my girlfriend. Quickly about me: I'm a 29 year old guy who's seen a lot and has stayed everywhere between the best hotels and the shadiest hostels in the World. I try to review things as they are. So: This is a lovely bed and breakfast, perhaps as lovely as bed and breakfasts get....

I enjoyed Pico, and I enjoyed Whale'come and Espaco Talassa. A tip about the noise level I have read some complaints about- they (apparently) recently opened an extension up the road at Casa do Flores. We got placed there automatically, but I am sure you could request it. It's about a 5-10 min walk up the hill from actual Whale'come,...

We stayed here for a week as part of the 'dolphin connection' package. The hotel is very clean and the staff always efficient and helpful. They organised our taxis perfectly (and re-organised them when our flight was delayed). The meals were great value & very tasty and we ate their most nights - you can even get a litre of...

If you visit the Acores to experience a few days back to the roots, no hectic, no media, no entertaining, just sounds and sights of nature, this is the place to be! Whatever you need, there is always somebody available with advice and support, meals are really good, staff is extremely friendly and guides are extremely knowledgeable.

We stayed here for three nights. The building is charming and the room was spotless. The rooms are nicely renovated and it was very comfrotable. Excellent location to Espaco Talassa (where we took a while watching tour). Also there is a parking lot across the street that makes for easy parking. Very happy with the location. The hotel is not...

Despite the strained name, this is not really properly described as a 'hotel', it is really more of a dormitory for the adjacent whale watching outfit, Espaco Talassa. The rooms are right above its restaurant terrace - or refectory for the whale watchers - whose every choice of food and conversation in every aspect of its respective aroma (i.e., odor)...
