We wanted somewhere more homely than luxurious and ended up with both! Such a lovely little place to stay - massive props to whoever does their gardening as it really brings out the beauty of Portugal. It was a bit cold in November for any swimming in the pool but it was open for use much the same. Great breakfast...

if you don't want mass-catering, seating by the swimming pool type of holiday then this venue is charming and quaint. Good breakfast serve individually. Nice garden. Friendly staff. Good location for Ana Dona beach. Easy to get into Lagos town centre if you have a car, or if you are a good walker (25 minutes walk).

First, an explanation of the rating. I wanted to use the middle ranking, but 'average' is exactly what this guest house/small 3-starrish hotel isn't - generally to its credit, as all publicity and most previous reviews emphasise; hence the 'very good' for what overall was a very average experience. Plus seasonal goodwill. However, that experience was as out-of-season as it's...

Beautiful little hotel. Quirky individual rooms. We would highly recommend. Things which may helpful to know: - breakfast (€10 per person per day) is huge (we made up lunch from the rolls) - staff excellent and very helpful (good English) - 20 mins walk to the town - 2 excellent restaurants 10 mins away though - 2 beautiful beaches 10...

We loved this place and were sad to only spend one night. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was really good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone. The only thing we didn't like was the cats on the property. They were a bit intrusive.

This place is wonderful. We stayed in the Romantic Room, a circular room set at the back on the property in a more private little building. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and lovely plate of snacks. The room was massive, bed very comfortable (and round!) and the decor was lovely ... a lot of thought went into...

We spent four nights (three in an apartment, one in a single room). The space is spectacular, the service impeccable, and the location just swell. It's 15 min walking to the touristy center, and 5 minutes to two of the best beaches I've ever been at. And only 15 minutes also to an other, larger beach, since August was very...

Just spent five nights here and can't wait to go back. One of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. Beautiful rooms and gardens with a tranquil pool. Breakfast served on you terrace every day and minutes to two lovely beaches. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Its a great place! Each "room" its a little house very nicely decorated and with own balcony/terrace. The gave us a welcome wine from the region and the staff was very nice. They have a good area of swimming pool with sun chairs, totally relaxing. I strongly recommend to take the breakfast option. Its was lovely prepared outside in a...

We spent two nights in this lovely family owned hotel. Room was beautiful and service was good. The beakfast was served to the garden where we had our own private table. Breakfast was very good and tasty, including bread, buns, ham, cheeses, salami, yoghurt, fresh fruits etc. Hotel was in walking distance from old town and beautiful rock beaches.
