Casa da Moura is tucked away at the edge of the historical old city of Lagos. It is simple but comfortable, the rooms are decorated in old Moorish style. The large bed had spotless white sheets, there was a pleasant sitting area, the kitchen facilities were basic with a small fridge, single hob and limited crockery and pans. Standard of...

I travel a lot, so I understand my expectations may be higher as a result and for the price this place wasn't bad. However, I have a feeling that boutique accommodation like this is in abundance in the area, and therefore I think you could find something similar with less quirks as many other reviews have mentioned. The language barrier...

Pros: -Breakfast and free drinks and coffee in the apartment. I know somehow we paid, but still like the convenience not being charged extra for everything. The breakfast has so much fruit, great! We ordered omelette too! Thank you. -The decor: Moorish, a new experience for me, liked it. -Somehow very comfortable. There are also books and magazines, different European...

When we arrived we were given a room on the bottom floor which stank of mold and humidity. The noise from the traffic outside also added to the lousy experience throuout the night. The key to the room barely worked and we had to spend 5-10 minutes every time to lock/unlock the door when coming and going. The straff were hardly...

This was a very tranquil blissful little place a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town and the beaches of Lagos. Lagos is such a fantastic place that we spent little time when we weren't sleeping in the hotel, so I have little detailed info to give. However the real highlights are all the lovely windows that mean...

In a calm dead end street sits this truly charming eclectic little hotel, with big rooms/ apartments ( fridge, kitchenette, livingroom etc). Moroccan style furnishings, lovely pool area, view onto either pool or communal par area. Breakfast on top floor magnificent view- abundant buffet with fresh fruits, cheeses, breads and any eggs you like. Truly generous.

Absolutely loved it there, fantastic place just inside the old town walls. A plentiful breakfast served up on the roof with views of Lagos, room was large, clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved it there, finally a hotel with some character! We stayed on the ground floor, right by the main entrance with windows going out onto the little street but it was very quiet (perhaps because it was Sunday) so we didn't mind. It felt very Moroccan and was a nice change from big chain hotels with no soul. Very...

After a late booking for the same day on Booking.com (around 6.30pm), we are arriving at the hotel at 7.30pm. Nobody at the reception desk, another guest open the entrance door for us. We call the number of the hotel, and they say that actually check-in has to be before 6pm for a one night-stand and the girl responsible of...
