We arrived to find that the little old lady that runs it (granny) is lovely and friendly but only speaks French or Portuguese. The room was clean and fresh towels were provided. We didn't get them replaced during our stay but if you ask granny she is happy to change them. The kitchen is shared as is the outside space....

Words can't describe how awful this place is!!!!! This was supposed to be a nice "luxury" ending to a month of backpacking and we paid 260 euros for 3 night. When we arrived the incredibly rude woman barely spoke a word to us, simply walked us to the room, stuck out her hand and said "cash", after which she walked...

The lady was so sweet and nice. She explained the area and showed us the house. The rooms were comfortable but simple. The hygiene was great and the little garden perfect to have breakfast in. The kitchen was also superclean. We would definitely come here again next time when we are in lagos!

Casa Sousa is old fashioned house with really friendly host lady. Room was clean and equipped with heating/cooling pump. Sheets were old as my grandma but it didn't bother me. In shower you had to wait more than a minute to have warm water. Our room was on ground floor but it wasn't noisy at all, pretty good isolation on...

I stayed here for 3 nights in August and it was a pleasant stay. The room is basic with two beds a small tv and a modern bath room with shower. Airco works good, wifi is okay, sometimes a bit slow. There is a kitchen with refrigerator which I did not use. The old lady living there is friendly. Location...

We stayed here a while back and loved it. It's definitely a guest house (not hotel) but it had everything we needed. The owner - I can't remember her name - was so sweet to us. She even brought us rice pudding one day just because. We had a room with a balcony and the communal kitchen had anything you...

Just had one night here and it was a great place to stay. 15 minute walk from the bus terminal, streets not quite as on google maps (or maybe it's me!) but with a bit of following our noses we found it no trouble. Warm welcome, clean rooms (there are seven in the house), shared kitchen, free wifi, good price,...

After three months of traveling this is the best place my wife and I have stayed. The rooms are very clean, we had a big bed, decent bathroom and a brilliant balcony with a great view. There was a nice kitchen with fridge space provided, and a communal computer that was free to use. The owner was an elderly woman...
