Hotel is basic but clean and comfortable, and the staff are very helpful. Very good night's sleep! Short walk to the town centre. If you are coming to Faro just to stay in your hotel room all the time, why are you even in Faro?

The rooms are very basic but clean and with Air Conditioning (VERY Important...). The front desk staff was very pleasant and professional. We found the breakfast a bit expensive and decided not to purchase it (it should be included in the price of the room). It's very well situated, within a short walk to downtown and the train station.

What a lovely find. Midway between the main town and the Forum shopping centre. Arrived very late, caught the no 16 bus from the airport and got off at the penultimate stop, the hotel is just 5 mins walk away. 24 hour reception and able to buy a bottle of wine and water. We had room 703 with a balcony. The view wasn't too bad, could see the planes landing over the water. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom large with plenty of hot water every day for a bath.Could do with a bit more storage space. The hotel is spotless, with rooms being cleaned daily. Breakfast is in the basement with cerials, toast, cheese, ham, boiled eggs etc plenty to start the day with. Location: 3 restaurants within a few minutes walk, the best one just at the end of the road. About 10 minute walk into town and the same to the Forum shopping centre, the street food upstairs is delicious. To catch the bus back to the airport just walk straight down past the school to the bus stop on the main road. and to top it all the best custard tarts are made in the patisserie next door.

‪The hotel I booked made an error so I re-arranged to Hotel Alnacir and it was good! Although it looked a bit old but it was comfortable. The staff was really friendly and I’m loving the breakfast selection.

What I liked: The hotel is in a convenient location. Has bar and lounge area, free parking available. Right next to bakery and cafe. Waking distance to everything. What I didn't like: repairs were done poorly and patch like. Wifi is slow were you can hardly upload pictures to the internet. I'm here in winter and its hard to stay warm at night.

Is this hotel accessible by bus from Faro airport. How far away is the bus stop. Thankyou.
I don't know but would think so, the airport is not so far away, the main bus station is at the bottom near the harbour, it is a 10 min walk from there to the hotel depends how much luggage you have as uphill, but easily doable with hand luggage. Can't remember how much we paid for a taxi but it was not a lot
