We arrived on Friday 18th November, early flight in from the UK - couldn't check in, as we'd arrived earlier than expected. Not a problem, the staff took our cases until we cam back and checked in properly. The staff, from the very second we all stepped into that hotel, could not have been more friendly/engaging - it was all genuine as well, each and everyone of them, had a smile on their face, took an interest in us all and were very knowlegable abut the area and the hotel itself. The rooms were amazing, really comfy bed/pillows and sofa - wet room, had everything you would need and more. Simple things like magnetic weights on the balcony curtain to stop it opening with the breeze - genius! Honestly, I am writing this, still smiling, feeling more chilled from the 2 days stay there, than a week away elsewhere. You were all AMAZING, we will be back!!…
We stayed in the 3HB Faro from August 7th to 11th. They had arranged a pickup from the airport which is about 10 mins away for EUR21. We were greeted warmly on our very late arrival. Our room was upgraded to a suite, which pleased our daughter no end (got her own separate room within the room), therefore two balconies. This hotel only opened in July 2021 (was previously a shopping centre) so it looks very new and relatively unscathed by guests. Our room looked like it had never been visited. Luxurious, comfortable, well equipped, no outside noise....we even had lavender growing adjacent to our balcony. Location is perfect for the centre of Faro and marina and about 7 mins walk from the ferry port. We found the staff to be warm and friendly throughout, without exception. The rooftop pool & bar is perhaps a little bit 'busy' but there is limited space as, well, it's a rooftop. The entire area (including the pool) is immaculate and the service provided is excellent. Food and drinks are available at hotel prices, so set your levels of expectation. Didn't have time to visit the indoor pool unfortunately. Breakfast is fabulous - there's a massive selection, continental style. If you want a cooked breakfast from the menu (eggs benedict, etc), it will set you back EUR20 for an adult. If you don't like planes or aircraft noise, Faro may not be your best choice. Planes are landing frequently (we are not talking jumbo jets here, so not so loud), but it's barely noticeable after a while. Seems the sound gets absorbed by the nature reserve out in the bay. This did not impede our stay at the 3HB Faro in any way. We did have one evening dinner in the rooftop restaurant, which was good, but not extraordinary. There are plenty of choices within easy walking distance. As far as Faro is concerned, it's a picturesque town which has obviously expanded. Not really a huge list of activities in the town itself (aside from walking/eating/shopping) as most are focused on taking some kind of excursion on water. Conclusively, I and my family would definitely recommend the 3HB Faro. My only observation was that our room had so many switches (lights, drapes, night lights) that we occasionally plunged the room into darkness when someone was in the shower. I must also mention that the wi-fi at the 3HB was fast and stable, kind of what you would expect at a hotel of this quality.…
Just spent 4 nights in this hotel and what a lovely experience. The hotel is in a central position in the city, handy to many restaurants, marina, shops and train station. It is a well managed hotel with excellent friendly staff. Breakfasts are more than adequate with a choice of hot and cold dishes, also some cooked to order. Rooms are modern with Nespresso coffee makers and a kettle. There is another restaurant on the top floor serving meals at night though we didn’t try it as there are so many nice places nearby. If we return to Faro will definitely stay here again.
The best place to stay in town no doubt! Amazing rooms and service. The indoor and outdoor pools are wonderful to relax ! We enjoyed the high quality breakfast. The restaurant on the top floor serves delicious dishes. Everything was perfect!!!
We just got back from Faro and our 3 night stay at the 3HB. Wonderful fresh, modern and cool hotel. Great central location. We had a lovely welcome from the reception staff, most helpful. We have to mention Ana from the upstairs restaurant and also at breakfast. She went above and beyond for us with local restaurant recommends and was just generally lovely! Only down side was the booking of the spa facilities, we found this was a bit of a nonsense and got the impression other guests were also frustrated with the booking system. I think if the sauna or Turkish steam rooms are free then people should be able to go in without having to book 1/2hr slots! Other than that, we had a throughly pleasant stay and would definitely recommend to others.
Stayed for 5 nights in a superior plus room. The hotel is in an excellent position in the pedestrianised part of the town. It is a short walk to marina, bus and train station plus small boats out to beach and islands. Although in the town centre there is little noise as set back from street. The minute you walk into the building the staff greet you and are very friendly and helpful. The very spacious room was well appointed and once we got the hang of the fancy electrics for lights , curtains etc it was a joy to stay in. It had a large bathroom with huge shower. The fridge was topped up each day with bottled water and soft drinks. We appreciated the kettle and coffee machine provided. The roof top pool and open area allowed views of sea and marina. As we had some wet days we took advantage of the indoor spa pool. I was impressed that both pools were supervised by helpful staff who were life guards and provided towels. The breakfast included in our rate was superb, in addition to regular coffee they would make any specialty coffee to order. The food on offer was comprehensive from continental breakfast and pastries to full cooked breakfast buffet. In addition eggs, pancakes etc could be ordered fresh cooked. We traveled by taxi from airport to hotel. As an early departure on return we used hotel transfer which was 19 Euro in an immaculate Mercedes minibus. One minor niggle was we asked for a quiet room, however our room was on 3rd floor below rooftop dining room around 11.30 each night we could hear tables/chairs being moved around above us as they were clearing up. What makes the hotel apart from high quality building and food is the staff who are plentiful and always friendly and helpful…
My wife and I stayed at the 3HB for 3 nights as part of my 50th birthday present. The nicest, most refined hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Excellent service, delicious breakfast, superb room (everything was electronically controlled), and a lovely spa area. On our first day, the sun shone, so we used the roof-top swimming pool. Absolutely loved this hotel. I hope we return one day. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.
This hotel was exceptional in an understated, sophisticated way. From the service to the food, everything was done beautifully. The breakfast downstairs is not to be missed. The Turkish bath is a MUST for spa or water lovers. The rooms and gym were clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed our stay here.
Situated in a perfect location this hotel is modern clean with great facilities. Rooftop bar food was excellent rooftop pool was small but had plenty of sunbeds . Breakfast was a buffet style but also offered a limited menu with waitress /Waiter service . Staff at the Reception, restaurants & Bars and cleaning friendly and efficient. The Gym was well kitted out clean with Towels & complementary water. All I all great hotel well worth paying a little extra
Brilliant hotel right in the centre of town. Staff were very friendly and super helpful, the facilities at the hotel are immaculate and beautifully designed. Whilst the drinks may be a little on the expensive side it was worth it. Will definitely be back (we went as family of four, with 2adult children for a treat after the last few horrific covid years)
