The hotel was very cheap for a few days in april but it was perfect for the price. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a pub/restaurant and they have a pool as well. Close to the beach but a bit far from the city centre but there is a car rental next to the hotel with great cheap prices so you can get a car and explore all the nice beaches and restaurants in algarve.

Basic room with a lovely sea view ver very clean wonderfull family run hotel friendly staff, really enjoyed my stay here. Just ashamed you can’t get food until 12pm and can’t get a drink in a morning (coffee water ) till 11 over all had i great time and my first time in Portugal was good would definitely stay here again. Basic rooms but clean and at these prices you can't expect luxury. Enjoyed our stay here. Uber cabs are good value to get to the old town and Marina. A couple of nice beaches just a few minutes walk away with beautiful cliff side walk with outstanding views. Would stay here again .

Came here with my sister for 3 days. I absolutely loved it here. Rooms were clean. Staff are really nice and will do anything for you. Location is great if you like quiet and peaceful. The food in the restaurant was amazing especially the carbonara. Beach, shop and ATM is a couple of minutes walk away. If you want to go to old town for the lively atmosphere it was only 6-7 euros in an Uber. Overall I had a lovely time and actually didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend and I would love to come back.

I traveled to this hotel on my own and it was the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. All the staff were so helpful and the food was reasonably priced and was delicious. The rooms were so clean and provided a good nights sleep. A short walk to the beautiful beach and a supermarket can be found just a minutes walk away.
I will definitely recommend to family and friends and look forward to visiting again.

A little old place, but with everything you need. I read the other reviews and some complained about the refrigerator sitting on a purple plastic table. In fact it is like this, but what do you care if it is positioned there? The important thing is that it is there and it works! For the rest, the room is large and welcoming, the balcony overlooking the ocean is priceless and having breakfast in front of this spectacle is priceless. As for the staff, they are really very kind and welcoming. I forgot to mention that in the bar and restaurant there are display cases full of objects collected over years and years by the family that owns the hotel. Really cute! One last thing: you eat well and spend little. But what more do you want?

This was a great little hotel, its 5 minutes from the beach which is breathtaking, everyone at the hotel were amazing with us, from the lady on reception, to Marta and the team on the bar, the gentleman on the bar with glasses is so polite and welcoming, the hotel is very basic yet spotlessly clean. We will be returning to Torre Velha in the future. Thankyou.

Room basic and dated but clean and tidy. Good food. T-Bone Steak was incredible. Family atmosphere. Staff are helpful though Bruno could do with smiling more but maybe that’s just his nature. Pleasant hotel.
