Fourth time we've been to this resort and still great. Not fancy but very clean and quiet. We always hire a car as its around four or five miles to the centre of Albufeira but its also a great location to visit most of the Algarve. We had a bit of an issue this time with one of our air conditioning units but it was fixed pretty quickly.

Lovely Peaceful Small Gated Apartment Complex. Furnishings a little outdated but comfort & cleanliness far outweighed that. We thought a few bright cushions & pictures would liven up the sitting room. Lovely modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher that also needs modernizing along with bedroom. Very comfortable mattresses & we slept like a top! Distant sea view from the balcony in apartment 14 was lovely, as were gardens & pool. All staff were great & nothing was too much trouble for them, especially the cleaners. Wifi was a pain though, signal came & went but outside it was better. Enjoyed our stay very much, I have tried to be fair & honest in my review & it speaks for itself as we would definitely stay again!

I’ve been coming here with my parents for over 20 years. I now bring my children here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, don’t expect luxury but they’re very comfortable. The kids always have a great time at the pool. Perfect for older kids and younger ones.

Our family has stayed at this complex on and off for the last 27 years. Unfortunately we will not be staying again. We noticed something amiss when we arrived and was greeted by a frosty receptionist. A few days in after the ‘cleaners’ had performed their 5 minute clean, the frosty receptionist started shouting at us saying that a towel had excrement on it and that it was ruined. We could not believe it. We asked to see it and it was definitely chocolate. We washed it and handed this (not ruined) item back like new. We have put up with the dated villa over the years but there obviously now is a lack of maintenance as can be seen in the pictures. In addition, the cost had risen 50% since last year. Enough is enough. We will never stay here again and advise you reading this to do the same.

Our 3rd time at this lovely & quiet resort at Parque Monte Verde. Marita & Manuel are excellent & hospitable hosts & the apartment is clean with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. A couple of very minor problems were sorted as soon as reported - thank you.

This place is fantastic self catering accommodation, which is fully managed and operated by style holidays all year round. There are approx 25 self catering apartments mixed one and two bedroom. In a private and secure complex. With a main pool and childrens pool. The accommodation is immacutely kept and very modern. Great kitchen facilities and satelite tv. There is a pool side bar with offers snacks and light food. The pool closes sharp at 7.00 o'clock every evening. Hiring a car is a must if you are staying here, to be able to get around comfortably. By car the nearest beach is about 7 minutes. nearest supermarket 2 minutes and Albufeira Old Town is between 10-15 minutes. Very peaceful location but also lots of families there which is great for the children to meet friends and play. There are no activities offered and no entertainment is offered. It is very much a place were you have to make your own fun and adventure. The manager and reps were always on site at certain times during the time which was great. I would highly recommend the location and the accommodation to any one who doesn't mind hiring a car. When you have booked once you will go back again I am sure. From the airport it took us approx. 35 minutes. We had never driven in Portugal before and found it very easily (majority of the trip is along the new motorway), Style holidays also provide great pre-printed directions when you arrive at Faro. So if you get the opportunity to go take it I just know you will enjoy it.

Me and my partner stayed at the parque monte verde apartments mid July 2018 and can’t recommend this place enough! From arrival the owner greeted us at reception was very helpful friendly and efficient. We were put in room 19 which was a twin bed apartment situated on the second block of apartments, the room had a lovely balcony and view. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well looked after. The room was very clean and had everything you needed, you could tell parts of the room had recently been refurbished which was refreshing as some of the original hotel images seemed a little dated. Cleaners came everyday made the beds and changed the towels except on Sundays. There’s a self service laundrette if needed on site at no extra cost. The pool was fantastic with a small pool bar offering snacks and drinks, there’s a small pool for children too. Great hotel for families but me and my partner enjoyed our stay too. Plenty sunbeds no need to get up at 6am and reserve with your towel. The complex is in a great location just outside of Albufeira, no more than a 10 minute drive, which we liked because it was nice and peaceful at night time. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance and a brilliant tapas cafe within 2 minutes walk from the apartments, we went there every other day for lunch. There’s also a great supermarket up the road going into Albufeira with a great selection of just about everything! We rented a car and I would recommend this if you want to get out and see the rest of the Algarve we travelled into Vilamoura and Portimao which were around 30 minutes drive. I would definitely stay here again me and my partner have already been planning our stay next year. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Myself, my wife & our 15 month old son stayed here in late August 2013. We hired a car, as this is really a must due to the location of the Parque Monte Verde. We arrived to find the SECURITY gate to the complex wide open. We later discovered that it was broken & therefore permanently open. This was obviously a concern due to Portugals recent history with child safety. I recieved a call the previous day from the manager to tell us the keys to our apartment were under the mat. What he didnt tell us is that we had to climb steep steps to get to it. Not good when you have a toddler. Our first night was ruined by a family party below us which went on until the early hours. We had been up since 5am to catch our flight. There was also constant road noise from the very busy main road only a few metres away. I complained to the manager & insisted he move us to a ground floor Apt which was quiet. 'We are fully booked. I cant' he said. We threatened to leave. Suddenly someone was leaving early & he could accomodate us at the rear of the complex. We moved later that day.
Midway through our stay i woke early to find our Apt door open. We had been burgled. I spoke to the manager who insisted that we must have left it open. We Know otherwise. The previous day, the complex was visited by Gypsies who spent the afternoon taking fruit from the trees. Our neighbours, who are regular visitors to the complex informed us that they were aware of numerous burglaries during there stays there. Our Apt was cleaned once, thoroughly during our stay (the day before we left). There is a small playground for children, but we found we had to dispose of our childs clothes after playing there. They had what looked like a tar coating on them from the safety floor covering Location wise, there is very little around. The nearest supermarket & bars are a 15/20 min walk, but they are not great. The public pavements are not buggy friendly either. This complex has so much potential, but for me, never again.

Have just returned from the parque monte verde apartments after what should have been a nice relaxing week away. everything started out good, the apartments are exceptionally clean and spacious although a car is strongly recommended as it is abit of a walk to the resaurants and shops. There are electric gates at the entrance to the apartments which you need a remote control to open which is given on arrival, I felt encouraged by this as i think to feel secure helps to enjoy the holiday more. However when we woke up on friday morning we discovered that while we were asleep in bed someone had got into our apartment and stole all our cash and my husbands mobile phone. The apartment was locked and there was no sign of forced entry!! Very odd. What made it worse was that when we contacted the style rep Hayley it took her over 2 hours to arrive and then she was just not interested. I have never felt so scared and sick in my life to think that somebody had access to our apartment when we were asleep and we didn't hear anything. It's a shame because we will never go there again because of this and the resort in itself is really nice, if anybody out there is going just be aware that EVERYTHING needs to be locked away because somebody there is less than honest.

We had a wonderful 11night break here, The apartments are disabled friendly, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally well equipt for a self catering holiday, The pool area was well kept, plenty of sunbeds, and regularly cleaned. The apartment was serviced daily by very friendly staff. The only reason I didn't gave 5 stars was due to the mattresses being exceptionally firm, ( 4 family members agreed on this) which made sleeping quite difficult, Perhaps matress toppers could be considered for guests that may need a more comfortable sleeping surface. Would definitely recommend.
