Despite seeing several varying reviews I was tremendously surprised by the apartment. I have never stayed in an apartment which was better equipped or maintained. The kitchen was so well equipped with an unlimited supply of hot water. Housekeeping was efficient. Towels were changed regularly. Despite those other reviews, reception couldn't have been more helpful. I am definitely considering returning later in the year.

These apartments are basic and suitable as a base for most things Albufeira related. The rooms are mainly clean, I did note some grubbiness in the kitchen area and microwave. The towels and bedding were clean, I wasn’t sure re the bedspread. The air conditioning was good and great to have a fridge. There was an iron and hairdryer, small balcony with seats, clothes airer.
There were a lot of large groups staying here (including us) so be aware of that. To be fair, they did have “quiet hours” 12-8 but a lively location!
There was a small pool and limited number of loungers, there was a second pool as this accommodation was over three towers which was quite full and always busy.
Excellent pool bar and snack shop, the reception also had a good shop with a kind and helpful member of staff (Catarina) who showed us where the pharmacy was etc.
There was a refundable charge for the safe, housekeeping called daily and replaced the toilet roll, emptied bins, no more than that.
Good location, around €4 to go to the strip and/or old town, plenty of Uber cars on call (taxis are more expensive so download the app).

We stayed here as a family of 4 in a one bedroom apartment. Everything about the place is basic but we knew what to expect before we arrived so we were actually okay with that.
It seems to cater for families and for gangs of young people so it's the luck of the draw whether you have a relaxing time or you are in the company of gangs of youths listening to loud music while showing off to each other.
The complex is 3 blocks of apartments totalling about 120 or more apartments. It looks like some people actually live in the apartments and they come down to the pools in the late afternoon. With that many apartments the pool are gets busy sometimes.
Reception can be friendly or not, it really depended on who was working.
The inside bar is not worth visiting as it just feels like you are sitting in a bright kitchen at home.
Uber's or taxi's into Old Town or New Town only cost €4 to €5 so that's the place to go each night.
The closest supermarket is about 750m down the hill and it's called Pingo Doce. It's always busy so there's no quick in and out. It's your typical supermarket that you'd have in Ireland or the UK. If you use the bakery counter make sure you pull a ticket number when you go in.
Myself and my wife would take a stroll to the nearest beach each morning, Praia dos Alemães, which I'm guessing was about 2km away as it took us just under 20mins to walk there.

All in all these apartments were basic but the holiday was enjoyable.

We were quite nervous about our stay earlier this month because of some of the reviews on here, but I’m so glad we ignored them and judged for ourselves. We stayed with our three children one being a baby and we really
Couldn’t fault this hotel or the staff. Nothing was an issue and all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The beds were like sleeping on a cloud! Rooms were clean and spacious, I know a few reviews commented on the rooms being dated but in our 8 years of visiting Portugal we have come to realise that most of portugals hotels are and so long as they are clean I think for the price you can’t really complain. The apartment had everything we needed for self catering and the extra bonus of hairdryer, iron and ironing board! We had two balconies with amazing views. The two sofa beds were actually 2 single beds so no faf and they were perfect for our two oldest kids (8&9) cot was provided for baby and was already in the room when we arrived!

There were two pools (one that also had a small pool for children) both have snack bars and the food was nice, drinks etc were a little more expensive but is expected in a hotel. Pools were cleaned every morning and We always managed to get sun Loungers. There was also an indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym. There was ping pong tables and mini golf, and also a basketball/football court. So the kids were always entertained.

There is a 24hour shop in the main block which was extremely handy and prices weren’t bad. The main nighttime bar was nice and relaxed too, we went there every night after being out for food and the kids enjoyed games of pool in the bar.

We walked to the old town the first night and it was quite a long walk with the children but definitely doable (took us around 30minutes), however we opted for taxis after the first night just for easiness with the children, which the hotel receptionist booked for us every night and taxi arrived within minutes.

Also the deposit, we did not have to pay so not sure if that’s maybe for younger groups maybe.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again! Huge thank you to all of the staff who work extremely hard , round the clock with a smile on their face, it makes all the difference!

Just got back from a five day break at this hotel. Arrived in the early hours of the morning, and was greeted with a friendly face and checked in no bother. Found that our room had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise, and it was immaculately clean. The whole hotel grounds were clean, easily accessible and perfect for our needs. Had an absolutely fantastic holiday and love the fact that there is a heated indoor pool right next to the outdoor pool, allowing you a pleasurable swim to cool down, then just a step outside to dry off in the sunshine. It was very quiet when we were there. Bearing in mind it is mid-October so had no problems with noise and plenty of space and privacy to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Kitchen was fully equipped not that we used it much and cleaning came in every day. Would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a decent place to stay for a relaxing break.

Without a doubt, it was not the most pleasant stay and will not be repeated.
It's all aimed at the British who occupy the majority of the apartments. The common areas, namely the swimming pool, including the children's pool, are dirty and full of rubbish. They should be cleaned several times a day.
The apartment had no exhaust ventilation and the refrigerator did not work properly. The maintenance team responded that as it was making ice it was working, so they did not solve the problem.
Cleaning is not the best. It is not done diligently and, despite saying that there is weekly cleaning, we did not have it cleaned every day. They didn't want to change the towels and the sheets were never changed, and they usually change them on the fourth day, as we were staying for 7 nights.
Despite saying that there was 24-hour security, it was rare to see anyone, there was no type of control at the entrance to the condominium at night (in fact, during the night, inside the condominium they pawned my husband's bicycle, which was parked in a place own) and the noise was constant, with no control.
The apartment door could be opened from the outside, that is, if we didn't all leave at the same time, whoever stayed in the apartment had to lock the door to be able to remain calm and make sure that no one entered.
Free parking? It would be unbelievable if they charged for public parking. The condominium does not have parking. There is only parking on the public road in front. Vehicles are not even permitted to unload or load luggage.
The prices charged at the bar are crazy and there isn't always coffee and the drinks are hot.
The location of the accommodation means that any journey must be made by car.
Extremely expensive accommodation for the quality it presents. Luxury price for poor quality service.
One certainty remains: we will not return!

Stayed here last week for a family of 5 holiday. Arrived late at night where my travel agent messed up our booking but the lady on reception sorted it out in minutes for us. We stayed in block 2 above reception on the second floor where it was quite peaceful.

Beds were comfortable enough, room was huge compared to other places we've stayed. Balcony a little small but it worked as we had 2 of them so it was workable for us.

Staff all lovely from reception to coffee shop staff, to hotel bar staff to pool bar staff all lovely people.

Pool bar food was nice and handy as we didnt have to leave the area to eat which was great for the kids. Coffee shop done a tasty breakfast every morning where we ate most days.

The hotel had a small shop to buy some essentials which was open 24hours this was great as you could get water/sodas etcin the evening without having to leavethe hotel.

Rooms a little dated but clean which was important.

The hotel is a little out from everywhere but for 6euro in a taxi you were at the old town in less than 10minutes in the afternoon.

Would we stay here again?
Yes we would

Do i recommend the hotel?
Yes i do on my experience

Did we enjoy ourselves?
Yes all 5 of us loved it

Is the pools clean?
Yes all pools were clean and none were packed so plenty of space to move about.

Is it family or youngster oriented?
Sadly both, which has some downfalls. But it works in my opinion

Nice staff who are fairly helpful and reception open 24 hours so that’s good. I mean the people in this country are friendly in general. Foods overpriced and plain almost everywhere. Hotel rooms good and big but tv decides to stop working and aircon only works in one room. Doors on balcony and windows take hulk strength to open them. And when you’re eating or drinking you’ve got to neck everything or you will blink and the waiters will take away your food without asking. Which happened to me. Paid 17€ for breakfast and tea. I was just sitting chilling and I poured my tea out waiting for it to cool down, literally blinked and he was half way across the yard taking away my tea I paid for and drank none of. Things like that that take the piss a bit. Pool is way too cold to even get in aswell

Visited on the 23rd July for a week with my partner and 3 year old daughter. The staff at the reception were amazing, the apartments big enough very comfy beds big bathroom , two balconies , air conditioning in bedroom and sitting room which was badly needed as it was very hot, indoor pool and outdoor pools.
24/7 shop and this lovely lady that was Serving such a kind person. Wish I known her name so I would mention her on here.
There’s a lot of young people even tho I’m only 32 but this holiday was a family holiday so we weren’t into partying etc , the noise level of people screaming at 5am was out of order ( I know it’s not a hotel fault) thankfully my daughter sleeps thru any loud noise. If your children not sleeping well I wouldn’t go there. NO OFFENCE!
- the lifts they need improvement very slow and very little space.
- the oven ( I will post a picture) was just beside the door which has the bin in it, but that’s not a problem, the problem was that I couldn’t open the oven because of the door.
- the shower not working properly , and would leak the whole time
- the toilet water kept making noises 24/7
- the ladies that were cleaning our rooms seemed to be in and out. The only thing they were doing was giving us new towels , changed bedsheets and change bins, they didint hoover the rooms , didint leave extra shampoos. I had to sweep the floor all the time.
- the bar was ok I suppose , pity they close the food bar so early and all we could order was pizza for 12€ and unfortunately it’s a frozen pizza which wasn’t great at all. I know I can order take away but would be nice to have good food in place Iam staying.
- wish there was a kids club as there was a lot of families in there

Maybe one day management will decide to upgrade the apartments.

Anyways in overall to me the most important was that my family have good fun, nice and comfy bedrooms and to have good staff. And that’s what we’ve got.
Iam seriously satisfied with the staff being so amazing and kind.
Thank you so much

Booked a last minute deal to these apartments. I chose them cause they had the indoor pool etc and being november i wasnt sure of weather. I was staying myself. Arrived at 11am and despite check in not being till 3 i was told i could get in in about an hour. Dumped my luggage and went for a walk and to find a shop. This is when i realised i was actualy quite a walk away from most things. Fine going down but all uphill back. Its a good ten min walk to a.shop and 15 to nearest bars etc. also about 20 mins to beach and 30 to old town so be prepared to walk or taxi it. The apartment itself was basic but clean. I just got a studio and sofas doubled as beds which were comfy enough and plenty pillows and blankets. Had a room at the back so got sun all day(when i got any). Used the indoor pool and jacuzzi a few times. Pool isnt big but does the job. There is also a gym and sauna. Bar and cafe were closed as it was out of season. Asked if i could get a late check out due to a late flight and for €20 i was allowed to keep room till 5pm which was a godsend. All in all a pleasant enough stay. Reception staff were friendly but be prepared to have nothing round about.
