We spent a week at these apartments and what a lovely week it was. The weather was amazing for the time of year. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. Best equipped kitchen I have ever seen on holiday. Everything you need if you want to self cater. A full size fridge/freezer, oven and hob and microwave. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery etc. Very central but quiet too. The pool and surrounding garden at the back are also spotless. The couple of times we spent there we had the place to ourselves. The water was very cold…. Well it is February 😄. Marta and the other lady (sorry, didn’t get your name) were just lovely, always took time to ask if we needed anything. There was no charge for the safe, WiFi or air conditioning (needed at night as it got chilly) I wouldn’t hesitate to return to these apartments and highly recommend them.

This is are 3rd Stay here , an it didn’t disappoint ! Newly painted , spotless and spacious , met some lovely friendly people that were also staying there , it felt like a big family home . The Owners an Staff couldn’t do more for you , anything you need they will arrange including transfers . Will be booking again next year xxx

I have stayed in Albufeira at various appartments for over 25 years, all I can say is Carruna appartments are by far the best. The location is perfect, restaurants, bars, supermarket all on your doorstep. The hustle and bustle out the front or the serenity of the pool at the back with a beautiful patio full of exotic plants, perfect combination. Fabulously clean (everyday) unless not required. Umbrellas for the beach, towels for the pool all provided and a bookcase (great for me as I forgot my book). The balcony was also private not overlooked. This place is a hidden gem believe me! I didn't want to leave!!..... Mr and Mrs Carruna your appartments are fabulous 💖💖💖x

Amazing accommodation. Hosts were welcoming and helpful from beginning to the end of our stay. The apartment, inside areas and outside areas and pool were immaculately clean. We booked through booking.com and the hosts even organised our taxi from the airport. We would 100% stay again!

Excellent stay, Hosts are great. Clean, well maintained apartments in a great location.
Close to the beech and super market. Not far from the strip, but not so close that there is excessive noise etc

we have just come back after 2 weeks in praia da oura these apts are really good very clean and spacious maids come in most days with clean towels etc a lovely pool area at the rear, would recommend eating at paulu pizzeria across the road also agapito restaurant only one grumble hubby could not sleep for traffic noise which seemed to go on all night otherwise a great holiday also excellent beaches near by

Ideal place for us to stay, excellent apartments and a brilliant location. Good beach and good bars, plenty of food outlets but do not go near the chinese down by the roundabout, alot of people including myself went down with a bad stomach after eating there.

We stayed 4 weeks at the Catrina Apartments and had a fabulous holiday. Marta and her team were absolutely perfect hosts. They we’re welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Marta regularly asked us if we needed anything and would stop what she was doing to check that we were enjoying our stay. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as clean and as well kept as the Carruna. The rooms were cleaned 5 days a week with clean towels, bedding and kitchen clothes provided daily (towels) and ever second day fresh bedsheets. The pool and garden area was spotless and I would recommend this ‘little gem’ to anyone. I never provide feedback but I felt that this place deserves all the praise they get. Wonderful people, wonderful place. Marta also arranged shuttle buses for us with a very friendly and reliable young man called Erique whose mother worked at the Carruna apartments.

Me and my boyfriend went for our first holiday together to these apartments at the start of june and loved them so much we went in a huff coming home. Brilliant location near the busy strip but far enough away not to be affected by the noise or feel you are in too much of a touristy area. Taxi rides to other smaller towns or even albuferia are fairly cheap with us only having to spend over 10 euros on taxis to the fantastic Algarve shopping in Guia. The pool area was lovely with a mini bird sanctuary which being it a bit strange was rather relaxing aswell. Would recommend Santa Eulia beach if you are a beach person as there are some big rocks that provide some much needed shade if you are as pale as me. Spacious rooms and good maid service with a well equipped kitchen. Any problems sorted out straight away and I would definatly return.

Stayed for 12 nights with my husband and 2 teenaged daughters. Great location, 10min walk to the strip. Other bars and restaurants straight across the road , and on the way to strip and the square. Marta and her staff were very welcoming , nothing was any trouble, she booked us airport transfers and taxis while we were there. The rooms are immaculate , as is the pool and garden area. Very quiet at night aswell , as not too near the strip. If I was visiting Portugal again , I would definitely stay at Carruna 😊😊

Hi Sorry we never turned on the TV
Hi Marian - I'm 5.3 and was able to stand in one end of it so walking across would work. It does get deeper though with a fairly sudden drop. If getting in and out to the pool is a problem for you then maybe this one is not the best as there are only step ladders which don't go all the way to the bottom. I found it a bit tricky as I had to jump from the bottom step down into the water. Hope this helps
