Don't know where the 5 star reviews coming from. This is my only 1 star review for the hotel for my last 30 years of travel in Europe. Terrible front desk service. Poor tennis conditions and equipment. Cheap shampoo and scrubby towel.. Far away (30 min) from the center. Breakfast is mediocre. And 1 euro if you need a cheap mask from the front desk. AVOID....

Dear customers, Sorry to read such an unpolite review with false claims and incorrect facts. We can assure you that our 4.5 balls rating is coming from the reviews of many our customers that enjoy and love our services. Market research is being done not only from ourselves but also from our valued partners and everybody is just full of praise. In fact – in the last TUI award ceremony, we were awarded as their best hotel in the whole Western Mediterranean for all European markets. It is unbelievable that you can claim “terrible front desk service” while it was your group that was behaving badly and treating staff poorly while they were nice and polite to you. Tennis courts are to be charged while the reception agreed to give it to you free of charge (as goodwill gesture) and this is your thank you for their help? We have not got professional tennis court and neither professional tennis equipment as we have not got professional tennis players to play on our court, however none of the customers that use the court, have ever complained about it. Location and description of the hotel is very clearly published on any promotional site of the hotel and if was read, there would be no unpleasant surprise upon the arrival (one would not be able to expect fully refurbished modern hotel). Hotel is not 30 minutes’ drive away (in reality - the most it can be – is 15 minutes’ drive) from the centre of Albufeira (clearly stated that it is 9 kms from the centre). Breakfast is fully cooked English breakfast and our customers love it. It might not be completely to the American taste, but we have not got many of you as our customers, but everybody has been happy with it – so far! Our guests are of all different nationalities, but have not met such arrogant and rude guests as yet. We treat everybody the same - with great respect and we are expecting the same from our customers, which was not in your case. And as far as the cost of the mask go - €1 is very cheap to buy it in the hotel. No comment! And just a thought at the end. We are proud at what we do and we are only happy when our guests are having great time with us. And this is the fact. It has been proved by all different market researches as well as all the awards received year after year from our partners and our joint customers. And this is what is boosting our moral and keeping us motivated to do even better every day! Your sincerely

This is our favourite hotel and another two week visit this September was as superb as ever. The hotel is excellent at Covid management and helped with the Antigen testing and printing out the paperwork to return to the UK (well worth having a hard copy as so much quicker at check-in than those forlornly trying to find it on their phone or laptop). The staff are quite simply outstanding and the peacefulness of relaxing in the gardens was idyllic. There was only us and another couple there for the entire fortnight. Perfect with sunshine or shade, whichever you wished and plenty of sunloungers. Food is excellent and we look forward to returning next year! Thank you all for another fabulous stay. You make us feel so welcome every time we visit.

We made a MASSIVE mistake with our booking. We should have booked TWO weeks at the Falesia, not one. No excuse for our stupidity. We should know by now. We've been visiting the Falesia for years. Why? Gorgeous gardens, beautiful rooms, fantastic hotel manager in Carlos Franco and a brilliant comedy barman, Armen from Armenia. Who needs entertainment when he's around? If you want peace and tranquility with jaw-dropping beaches around 15 minutes away on foot, this is for you. The village of Olhos de Agua is in walking distance too. Lots of bars and restaurants there and also nearby. The huge amount of 5-star reviews speak volumes. It's a little piece of Heaven on Earth. We were tentative about booking. Like a lot of people we were concerned about the Covid testing hassles. But it's been SO worth it. We are glad we rose above off-putting travel rules to rediscover our mo-jo after 17 months without a holiday. Just need another week here - or three! Huge thanks to the Falesia team. We are delighted you have battled through the pandemic and continue to bring joy to thousands of return visitors, not to mention the many new guests who have been discovering the magic for the first time. In the words of Armen the Barman, we will be back!

We have returned from the most relaxing 10 days at this hotel. The busy restaurant staff deserve a special mention as they work so hard to find you a table, lay it up; all with a smile and welcome, even when they are rushed. Food was excellent with so much choice. Really enjoyed all the freshly sliced fruits at breakfast and salads in the evening. Some hot vegetables were a little disappointing as some were overcooked and soggy. So many choices of interesting hot main meals to choose from every night. I am missing the food! Pool area and gardens were excellent with lots of sunbeds. Gardens are so pretty and beautifully maintained; the fish and fountains in the water features were an unexpected delight. We loved most of the entertainment in the evening and there was even a live group by the pool bar one afternoon, which gave a great atmosphere. Fresh fruit skewers were brought to guests around the poolside on occasions. Such a lovely touch. We were disappointed at being unable to catch the hotel bus to Albufeira and Vilamoura, when we asked on two occasions. Both times, we were told there were not enough people wanting to use it. We tried the local bus service, which was not good. Not many running per day and not to time. The best way to get around was by Uber. We would love to return and certainly didn't want to come home!

We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel. We have searched without success trying to find where we can locally get tested before we leave. Emailed the hotel but no reply so far…can anyone who has stayed there help relieve our anxiety by letting us know where, how easy to get to and costs please. Sadly we are only there for 4 days so want to ensure we get this planned and as stress-free as possible. Many thanks in advance

Dear Guests, Thank you for your note. We are looking forward to your visit and hope you received our info which was replied within an hour of receiving your request. But here is the information that might be useful to some of our future guests that are wandering about the same thing. There are a lot of different places that do the tests (including a lot of pharmacies) and our reception will be pleased to help you and find the nearest and most convenient place to do the test. Price can differ and are on average between €20 (antigenic test ) to €70 (PCR test). I am sure you will find the services good and you can keep you mind in peace and start looking forward to your well-deserved holiday. Yours sincerely
