Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our 3rd visit to Nelio and his team. Nothing is too much trouble for them! Room cleaned very often, maintenance issues dealt with promptly, and reception staff all so very helpful..The staff made you feel relaxed and welcomed at all times. Of course, this was aided by Neptuno bar/cafe opposite, where I happened to see Nelio having his brekky!..Next time Nelio, I will buy you a coffee! THANKS AGAIN ALL...

Very clean and comfortable apartments. Kitchen is basically equipped with kettle, two electric rings and undercounter fridge with small freezer and the added bonus of a microwave. The apartments are cleaned 5 days per week and towels and bed linen changed once per week. There's also a TV in the rooms and adequate drawers and hanging space for clothes. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and a full size bath with shower above so may be difficult to get into for those with mobility issues. Beds were quite comfortable with one pillow but I'm sure that reception could provide another pillow if required. We were in a ground floor apartment and there was a patio area with a table and two chairs. The outside areas are very clean and tidy and there's a supermarket and a good choice of restaurants, snack bars, tobacconist and touristy shops within a few minutes walk. The beach is approximately 10-15 minute walk away and the only minus is that you have to reach it by lots of steps but there are plenty of benches to rest on should you need too. The only noise we heard all week was on a Saturday evening when one of the larger hotels played music until the early hours - however it was quite a windy evening so the sound may have been carried more than usual. We would definitely have no hesitation in booking here again and already planning our next trip.

Externally pleasing, unfortunately rooms left a lot to be desired; dated & dirty: the plumbing very basic with no “traps” on basin/bath/ kitchen sink allowing sewer smells back into the rooms, also bath very slow to empty, so using the shower wasn’t he best. Housekeeping basic & minimal. Kitchenette not really usable, Hot plate had no regulo markings, no working surface, kettle & microwave were in the main part of the small bedroom, the beds were uncomfortable, blankets looked like they’d come from the Army surplus store, only one pillow each supplied. Plus point was the balcony of the room (200) was a real sun trap, close to the beach & local facilities.

Much better than expected! Stayed with a friend as our Wowcher Mystery Holiday mid-May, in a ground floor studio apartment. I had looked it up and was not sure what it would be like as there was a couple of negative reviews on here and some not very flattering photos, so it’s not somewhere I would have chosen if I’d seen it online but we actually really liked it once we got there! Cons: - No A/C… BUT, the ground floor room with tiled floor meant that the room was not unbearably hot, despite it being 30 degrees outside while we were there. - A couple of minor housekeeping issues, but these were very quickly resolved by the staff who were really helpful: tv remote did not work (was immediately replaced within minutes), shower head was faulty - immediately replaced it with new one. - Shower had a couple of issues that weren’t fixable immediately so I did not bother reporting them to the staff: the holder on the wall that you sit the shower head in was not suitable for the new shower head. One evening there was absolutely rubbish water pressure, literally was a dribble… maybe lots of people were using water at the same time? This only happened to us once, the rest of the time the shower was lovely. - No toiletries like shower gel etc… Was kind of hoping there would be as we had to pack very light! Even if they did just enough to last you the first day until you found a supermarket it would be really helpful. - Tiny Towels, even tinier pillows, and only one pillow each! - The furniture and the kitchen/bathroom are very dated, but it just looks like rustic European style to me and it is all perfectly functional. - Bar is cash only (Lots of places are cash only around the area so make sure you get cash out - apparently the bank charges for card machines are very high here, so lots of places just don’t have them!) Pro’s: - Blissfully quiet hotel but still has things you need nearby like mini supermarket, ATM cafe/restaurants etc within walking distance. - Generous sized rooms - Little patio with table and chairs - Double doors out to the patio - Well equipped studio, with TV, fridge, hob, kettle, microwave, utensils etc. - Lovely pool (which is not heated by the way) with sun loungers and outdoor shower - Very helpful staff - On-site parking - Beachside restaurants with lovely views about 5-10 mins drive away. (We particularly liked ‘O Golfinho’ for its lovely food and cocktails with friendly staff and a stunning view.) - Lots of Uber drivers in the area, e.g. 5 min wait for pickup, only €4 to go to the beachside restaurant. Way more convenient than booking a taxi! - If you want to explore there are lots of nice places along the coast within half an hour’s drive. - Very nice local beach Overall we would definitely recommend this place, we liked it a lot.

We came here as a Wowcher mystery deal. We stayed in room 128. If you are looking at this for a saved up holiday then you may well be disappointed. For us as a base it was perfect as we paid peanuts so didn’t expect much. Nearby is a small supermarket which had everything we needed, 3 or 4 restaurants, ice cream parlour, couple small gift type shops and a couple of bars. A short 10 minute walk to the beach but we got an Uber to either Albufeira old town or Vilamoura. We loved Vilamoura marina , well worth a visit. Like I say don’t expect a 5 star hotel but we enjoyed it for a short break.

We arrived at Aldeia Da Falesia apartments for a 4 day holiday I would recommend this place if your looking for a relaxing quiet holiday The rooms are clean and basic with excellent service, there is a few bars/ restaurants in the area, a lot of place hear only take euro so bring plenty of Euro as the cash machine can dry up The beach is excellent with walking distance about 5 mins away, you can hire the beds and umbrellas for all day €18.00 or €12 till 2pm To go to Albuferia by Uber it’s 10 euros by taxi it’s 12 euros Return to our apartment we only did a taxi which was €16 probably cheaper with Uber in return Would highly recommend a stay here

Stayed 3 nights room dated but fine to stay everything you need. On-site bar very cheap. Close to beach and afew restaurants. This is the quieter part of town but that was what we wanted. Easy enough to get Uber to go to the busy strip.

DO NOT GO. The rooms are musty, old and dirty. When I checked in and saw the room I literally cried and tried to book another hotel. They changed my room and it was all the same. The hot water lasts for 5 minutes because each room gets a 50 litre hot water tank that takes 15 minutes to reheat. Rooms are cold and the beds stank. The surfaces aren’t clean. In both rooms the tub is old and the drain gets backed up so have fun standing in your grimy water. Overall bad experience, the hotel ruined my whole trip.

What to say about aldi. Let’s just say, You get exactly what it says on the tin (If the tin stipulates a musky yellow juice around your eggs). It should only take you approximately 6 hours to check in, but for the love of God don’t ask for a spare room key. That. Is. Impossible
