We were upgraded to a seaview room as soon as we checked in. All the reception staff are so friendly and would do anything to make your stay more comfortable.
Me my husband stayed in apartment 21 from the 2nd-12th October, its the biggest we've ever stayed in and we've been to alot of hotels! Free aircon which came in very handy, the temperatures were hitting 30°c. Very lucky with the weather. Free safe too, you get the key when you check in. We got given a map to get familiar with the hotel and the surrounding area. Beach towels are provided from reception daily. You just pop them in the box in reception when you have finished with them at the end of the day. The maids come in everyday and do such a good job. The whole hotel is just spotless.
Huge living room with two sofa beds, which are very comfortable. There was only 2 of us in this apartment but would easily sleep 4. Tv in the living room with plenty of uk channels although we did the screen sharing on the smart TV from our phones so we could choose what to watch.
Massive balcony with table and chairs. It was lovely waking up and sitting on the balcony with breakfast listening to the sea! Could easily fit about 5 sun loungers on the balcony it was that big.
The kitchen had everything you need. We cooked quite alot and was never short of anything. The microwave has a grill setting also which we didn't know about until about 5 days in lol.
The bedroom had 2 big single beds pushed together with a tv, long mirror and dressing table. Also had a small balcony with the aircon unit on but could still go out on it if you wanted but I preferred the big one.
Our apartment had a bath with a nice powerful shower in. Our friends room had just a large shower so if you prefer a bath then request a room with a bath in. We're not fussed about baths so never used it. Toiletries are provided and they smell divine. Also a hairdryer in the bathroom too.
The pool bar 'on the rocks' has lots of delicious cocktails and snacks. Everything I had was gorgeous and reasonably priced too but the main reason we spent alot of the time there was the amazing bar staff Ella and Miguel. Wow what wonderful, beautiful people they are and are a credit to this hotel. WE LOVE YOU!!
The pool area had plenty of sun loungers. There was a lovely balcony area with a view of the sea and was a sun trap with a few sun loungers too. There is a jacuzzi which is nice if you have been walking alot with cold water. The main pool at the deepest I think is 1.4m so it was perfect for me as I'm not confident in water. There is also a kids pool that was 30cm deep and I loved just sitting in it lol.
The hotel is nearly at the bottom of a hill which was sometimes a struggle walking up to the strip in the day when it was hot but nothing major. There's lots of shops within a 2 minute walk to the bottom of the hill. The beach is stunning, the waves were quite big when we was there but don't know if that's an all year thing or not.
It was my first time in Portugal and I have just fallen in love with the place. The old town is so beautiful. I was really sad to leave this hotel and wish we had booked longer. We will be coming back 100%.

Have just spent a week here in a deluxe apartment number 22. The location is amazing, one minute from the beach where there are a handful of good restaurants overlooking the beach/sea. The view from the balcony was just amazing and the apartment was large with everything you need. The air conditioning in the bedroom and living room was excellent and very quiet to leave on through the night. The cleaners did an excellent job and the apartment was spotless with fresh towels daily if required. Will definitely be returning.

We booked on the Thursday that Portugal was removed from the UK quarantine list for arrival the following Monday! This place is amazing, our apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean with a large balcony with pool and sea view. We spent a lot of time relaxing around the pool and this too was spotless. Sun beds were sanitised as soon as anyone left them so they were clean for the next person. Pool bar was great with a selection of snacks and drinks. We loved the happy hour from 4 till 7 with a different cocktail on special offer every afternoon. Staff are very friendly and accommodating! We loved it that much that we decided to extend and changed our flights for 3 days later. We will definitely go back again! Make sure you try the Italian in front of the apartments ‘San Martino’ as that too was fantastic!

Beautiful apartments spotlessly clean. Sea view room is a must they have an incredible view. Rooms are very large and spacious with every thing you need, they are all individual we looked at two others before deciding on sea view. The staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome from the minute you enter. Pool are is lovely and again spotlessly clean. Pool bar is excellent we loved great selection of reasonable priced drinks and food, they play fab music suitable for everyone very chilled. This hotel is not suitable for those with mobility problems due to its many steps and location. Without doubt the best apartment we have stayed in albufeira and this is our 13th visit.

First time in Albufeira and it did not disappoint! We stayed from July 19-22 and it was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Upon checking in, the front desk told us that we were being upgraded because they had vacancy in a sea view room. Imagine that! The room was extremely clean and the view was spectacular. The hotel is also in an excellent location to get to any main points, the beach is a 5 minute walk downhill and "the strip" (nightlife) is a 5 minute walk uphill. Gina, who works at the front desk and is absolutely incredible, recommended an excellent restaurant right down the hill, on the beach, called Vivaldo's. We ate there twice! She also called a car service for our to take us to Lagos, told us where we could get Covid testing, and was very accommodating with recommendations overall. There is a beautiful pool area, with a lounge deck facing the ocean and a great bar that has live music. Cannot say enough good things about this place. I would def stay here if/when I return to Albufeira. 10/10!!

Wow what can I say, beautiful apartments, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, lovely pool area. We had a fabulous sea view and looked over the pool area so we had no road noise. Don't take hand-wash, shower gel, shampoo or conditioner as these were all provided free as was the safe key, there is also a hairdryer in the bathroom. The location is great close to the beach and down a steep hill from the strip , there is also a super market and some restaurants on the door step. Would I go back again 100%.

My wife & I stayed for a week , the reception staff were very helpful, as were the pool & bar staff . The apartment was spotless & cleaned every day.we wouldn't normally stay less than 4* but this place was cleaner & better than some 4* places I have stayed . The location is perfect , very close to the beach , the strip is just far enough away & the old town is only €4 in an Uber taxi . There are plenty of Tuk-Tuks about but when ever you enquire about the price of a journey it's always €10 !!. Good Intermarche supermarket 15 mins walk away & restaurants . Uber taxi to Villamoura marina is about €15 each way , didn't rate it really , when booking an Uber to return remember the marina is secure gated so book a cab at a bar outside marina , we went to Punters bar .

Stayed here for 10 nights as a couple. Can’t fault the apartments, spacious, well equipped and kept spotless, we stayed in a deluxe sea view top floor Reception staff really helpful. One improvement would be to have a parasol or canopy on the balcony, it’s a huge balcony with amazing sea view but unusable for large parts of the day as no shade at all. The pool is much too small for the size of the complex and the sunbed area also very constricted, packed close together and again not enough shade. Usual problems with grabbing sunbeds early in the morning then not turning up for hours later, really frustrating. Beach is very close but costs 15 euros day for two beds and umbrella, very busy beach too. If you head east along the beach the other side of the large MGM hotel there is a smaller quiet beach there. As said previously this property is only a very short walk from ‘ the strip’ so there are large groups of stags and hens and students in the adjacent properties do you will hear lots of singing shouting as they return home at dawn 🥴. There is a good public bus service just up the road to take you to Albufeira old town only costs €1.40 each way. We also got a public bus to Faro which is a lovely place, well with a visit. We didn’t find the hill up to the main road an issue at all, despite it being called cardiac hill it really isn’t that bad and we are in our late 50’s and early 60’s.

Nicest apartments in Albufiera! The location is amazing- right by the beach and a short walk from other activities and restaurants. Rooms are cleaned everyday and the general cleanliness elsewhere is amazing the cleaning staff worked so hard. The pool is really nice and all the sunbeds were regularly cleaned by the lifeguard. The staff are super friendly and helpful- I was unfortunate enough to test positive for Covid-19 whilst staying in Albufiera and had to isolate here for 10 days. All staff were very helpful and followed the correct procedures, they bought our shopping for us and made sure we had everything we needed as well as ringing and checking on us all the time. The hotel manager Katarina was especially helpful and friendly along with the other reception staff we didn’t catch the names of. The apartments are also very well equipped and spacious and we had a really good view from the room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends !!

What a beautiful place! I visited Albufeira for a short solo trip in March 2023 and stayed at 3HB Golden Beach. I stayed in one of the top floor apartments and the view of the ocean was absolutely incredible (see photos). The location is perfect - the hotel is 2 mins walk downhill to the beach, and 5 mins walk uphill to the 'strip' nightlife area.
The apartment has everything you need - hairdryer in the bathroom, air conditioning throughout, fridge/freezer, kitchen essentials, plenty of seating, balcony in living room and in bedroom, shower gel / soap / conditioner in bathroom, free safety deposit box in wardrobe, daily cleaning, plenty of towels, and if you need an iron & ironing board you can collect them from the reception. There is also a gym, swimming pool, bar and plenty of sun loungers on site.
This was my first trip to Albufeira and I will definitely be back, and when I do I'll be staying at 3HB Golden Beach without a doubt.

There are a few restaurants down on the beach, but mainly up the hill there are lots in one area. Bar prices are much the same as outside the complex, happy hour is 50 cents off beer n wine and cocktail of the day.
Partner said hairdryer was adequate for an apartment.
There are more places to choose from in the Albufeira area.
