We stayed here overnight on our tour of the Alentejo region, the rooms were small but nice and well appointed, the internet worked perfectly and breakfast was very good, the town is a good starting point to visit the region. And the prices are excellent.
Lovely modern room and bathroom, very comfortable. Extremely helpful receptionist when we arrived but the poor woman was having to do everything as we found when we reported some of the lights in the room weren’t working. She had to come and look, leaving the desk empty so a queue formed. The bulbs had gone but no maintenance staff so couldn’t be fixed. This was a Saturday night and the hotel was full but the restaurant advertised was not open. However, we had a typically Portuguese meal at a nearby cafe. Very simple but some delicious food and wine. Hotel breakfast included in price but the service was utterly appalling. We arrived to find most tables free but none had been cleared. After going into the kitchens to find someone, a table was cleared with much bad grace and then we more or less had to set it ourselves. The breakfast left much to be desired and items ran out too soon. This could be a great hotel but the service let it down. Also, if there is private parking we couldn’t see if - we parked on the road outside which seems to constitute the private parking on site,.…
For this price, the best hotel I ever met and I am already travelling for 50 years !! Hotel is only 2 years old, very clean, friendly staff, large sympatic room, nice spacious bathroom, good food with a great Terra d’ Alter, Alicante Bouschet. Sometimes you must have luck in your life and this was the day. Room was only € 50.00 !!
This was great value. terrific selection of everything at breakfast. We had dinner in restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had in Portugal. We had to wait but well worth waiting . All food was only cooked when ordered and was really superb. Mains cost about 13 € but were top notch. The only negative was small room and poor air conditioning
Well located, friendly staff, nice decoration and very comfortable! The rooms are very cosy and well decorated. The hotel is one year old, so everything is new and sparkling. The staff is really nice and helpful!
