It saddens me to write this as we were at the end of our wonderful two motorbike trip. We had just been to visit some of Flanders Fields and arrived to be given a random map to take our bike to park, a good 10 minute walk away and not that clear of how to get into it. Breakfast started...

I stayed here for just one night back in July to visit the Menin Gate ceremony. The owner, Chris, was great...very welcoming and keen to spend time chatting. The hotel is probably in the best location in Ypres but in need of updating. Which I believe is an on going project. My room was dated, but clean and comfortable....everything worked...

A group of 8 of us stayed here this weekend, location is excellent on edge of square, the bar and reception area is lovely. We were all very disappointed when we saw our rooms...however we weren't in them long, we showered and got ready and went out. The beds are lovely and comfortable and we all had a good nights...

They are trying to whip the hotel into shape, and some rooms have been refurbished. but things are moving rather slow. when we were last there the beer wasn't on, as the pumps had to be shut down because work was being done in the cellers. However there was plenty of...

This hotel is in transition. On the positive side the staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner Chris is gentleman and an excellent host. Chatting to him he has an extensive background in hotels and cruising. He and his wife have bought the hotel with a view to refurbishing and improving it. The public areas have been refurbished as...

Good value hotel with charming and efficient hosts. Check in was super fast and all the important information passed on. Secure parking is available in a locked garage some 350m away. The hotel is in a central location on the corner of the square only meters away from all the restaurants. Our room (37) was at the top facing the...

Because my wife has an arthritic knee I asked for a downstairs room and a walk in shower when booking Hotel Regina especially in view of some negative comments regarding the lift and stairs. We were allocated a very nice room at Hotel Kookaburra (formerly Hotel 'O'), which is just a block away from the Regina and just off the...

Right slap bang in the middle of town, only a short stroll to the historic locations. Rooms somewhat dated but that's what should be expected, our room was a decent size. Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts.
