The location is really wonderful if you like the sea and you have a room with sea view! But what would I like to give some advice to the management when it comes to all the rest! The rooms are clean but they are really not value for money. Some renovation was done but not all the way unfortunately... the...

How many superlatives can I give Ostende and Thermae Palace? We stayed in Ostende on a whim. We wanted to smell the sea and see the beach. We were not disappointed. The Art Deco structure of Thermae Palace sits direcrtly on the Beach. Our room was spacious and the view from our sea view room was brilliant. The Hotel and...

The Thermae Palace Hotel has been give a new lease of life recently after a take-over by the Apollo Hotels chain. We stayed in a "Palace Room" with a splended sea view and a huge outside deck. The Palace rooms have all been renovated recently. We also enjoyed a "candlelight dinner" at the Périgord restaurant on Saturday night. It's actually...

Sure, this hotel could use some renovation, but in this case, that is exactly what makes it charming. You really feel like you've gone back in time. The stylish outside, the ballroom, the wide (dark) corridors... you feel you're back to the early nineteensomethings. Be sure to get a room at the front, with balcony. Sure, the balcony is small,...

There was free wifi. Even the room was outdated the room was clean which made a lot good. The breakfast...

Stayed for just one night after finding an amzing deal on ebookers. £53 for a room- unfortunately only a car park view, but we discovered when we arrived that the rate included breakfast which was priced at 16 Euros a night. The hotel is in need of redocoration which is ongoing, but the whole place has a ''victorian'' charm. (wrong...

I stayed here in January again and what a lovely stay. We arrived in a blizzard and therefore didn't venture out. The bistro was lovely with great service and food. When I awoke the beach was a blanket of snow. Absolutely first class view. If you stay here make sure you have a sea view, if your budget allows a...

The Thermae Palace is a grand old hotel right on the beach in a prime position in welcoming Ostend. You can enter the hotel through one of two entrances, both entrances via the hotels private car parks (10 EUR per day). This huge 160 room hotel is styled in art deco with polished brass, marble, dark wood furniture and caters...

As a seasoned traveller I have never before encountered more unhelpful and unfriendly Front Office staff. Having travelled some 8.000 KM and having selected the hotel for it's seaview rooms I did ask for a change from the assigned small carpark view room which was met by total disrespect. The receptionis was obviously too busy dealing with one of their...
