Fleur was the perfect host. So very friendly and one of the nicest welcomes we've ever received in hotel or guest house. We felt instantly at ease. The room - Number 3 - was stylish and comfortable. Big bed and plush cushions. We were given great suggestions for dining options and felt very comfortable asking questions about Brugge in general.... More

We turned up at the door and were given a warm and friendly welcome immediately, we booked our room there and then without any problems. The hotel is a beautiful home with lovely decorations. We had the "small" room, which was still a good sized double ensuite with TV and strong wifi. The room was quiet and cosy. There was... More

The hotel has just 7 rooms and is located on the edge of the old town so just a short walk to all that Bruges has to offer. Rooms are a bit tired and traffic noise could be an issue for some people however breakfast was excellent and the host very welcoming and helpful

Our first visit to Bruges was great. The Gulden Vlies was really easy to find thanks to great directions from Fleur. Lovely welcome with lots of advice about what to see and where to eat and a very helpful free map. Our room was on the top floor so we had lots of stairs to climb but it was worth... More

Fantastic hotel, very comfy and so convenient to the main town. Host extremely helpful with any question asked including give tips to see locally. Breakfast excellent and brilliant continental choice. Good parking facilities. This hotel deserves a much better rating than only 2 stars.

Stayed for a long weekend and joined by family. On arrival were met with a very warm welcome and allowed to go to our room straight away, even though we were really early due to a quick crossing. Our room was comfortable and we slept well.. We were on the very top floor, but the exercise did us good! The cold... More

I stayed here on a weekend trip with family. We were made to feel very welcome throughout the stay. The room and bed were very comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre. I would certainly be happy to stay here again.

Just stayed for 5 days over the new year. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Easy 15 minute walk to city centre square. Fleur is the perfect host, nothing would be to much trouble and she has created a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. Great breakfast choice. Book with confidence, I would happily stay again. We had a great time in Bruges, Madame Fleur is a great host and very accommodating for families. If that's important to you, then you will overlook some of the issues mentioned in other reviews. Very warm welcome, and the information about the area saves a lot of time and makes for a better holiday. Bathroom appeared to be new... More

This is a B & B and it was wonderful to be welcomed into their home. The room had everything we needed apart from some milk to make a cup to tea. The bed was comfy and we both had good night's sleep while there. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as there is no lift. Free parking is... More
