The rooms are lovely and clean, the hotel is nice and the staff are very helpful and pleasant but as we've encountered many times before with previous hotels, the walls are paper thin. Our first day we were exhausted from the travelling so had a quick nap but was woken by a family arriving in the room above us. We...

This is my third visit to this hotel and each year just gets better. The rooms and lounge area are fantastic as is the breakfast. We stayed in room 228 which was decorated to a high standard. Looking forward to my next trip to this hotel.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in the Academie during February. The hotel is just a 10 min walk from the train station, (although the cobbled streets are not great for wheeling luggage). We checked in around 3pm and paid the 12 euro local tax that is required in any hotel in Belgium, The staff were all very...

We are just back from our stay here and found it the perfect location - close to everything! I found the hotel to be very modern and clean, friendly staff and a lovely interior. Recommended for sure! One thing to note is it is €12 charge each time for room service (we had only ordered 2 cokes & orange juice)...

Stayed only 1 night. The bed was comfortable. Outside of the historical city center but not far. Excellent breakfast, good value for money. It was an ideal place to stay during the Ronde van Vlaanderen. Close to the highway. But not noisy.

My husband and I stayed here as a birthday treat. The hotel is clean, the room was lovely and service was great. The hotel is in a great location as it is within a short walk from the train station and also within easy walking distance of Central Bruges. We had a fabulous stay. Thank you.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of January. The hotel staff were very welcoming. The room was a little tired but comfy enough. The hotel was undergoing some repair works and there was a bit of noise from that during the day but it did not affect our stay. The selection at breakfast was amazing and everything...

The hotel was in a good location to explore Bruges. It is clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. It is also within walking distance of the train station. Loved hearing the clop, clop, clop of the horses in the morning instead of cars.

Stayed here at the end of January for a short break. Faultless service throughout our stay. Big comfy beds. Very quiet at night. The place is spotless and ideal for a city break to Bruges. There is a fantastic Grill Restaurant right next door and a great Belgian Bar. We had a great stay.
