We spent three nights at the Floris Hotel in December. The hotel has a lovely lobby area with a bar and the staff were very welcoming and efficient at check-in and check-out. They also gave us some really useful information on good local restaurants, one of which (Poules Moules) we went to and it was excellent. We had booked the...

We stayed at the Floris Karos Hotel for two nights, mainly to enjoy a few days before Christmas in Bruges. We are a mid-30s, no children, couple. The hotel is in a good location, 20 minute walk from the station and 10 minute walk from the main town areas. To be honest though, most hotels can offer this as Bruges...

Less than a mile from Bruges station, you can either get a taxi or one of a number of buses. Alternatively walk along the canal to the hotel, if you want. We went for three days just before Christmas and got a room on the 2nd floor with sloping room and roof window. Lift up to the first floor then...

I'd booked a family room with two single beds pushed together and another double bed since I was traveling with two others. Upon check-in, the desk staff was whispering about us and said that although I'd booked a room for three, I had to pay extra for the third person. They claimed I'd only indicated two people (I don't remember...
