We got a room right above the restaurant and the bars with terraces that don't close down before night. The room is extremely hot and since there was no airco we had to choose between either a lot of noise from people drinking and morning traffic or no sleep due to a lack of fresh and a bit cool air....

Nobody is at the reception, unless you call them. The room had a weird humidity smell. The room was not really clean and a bit noisy from the bars downstairs (all night long). The bathroom smelled and some part of it were probably never cleaned (seemed like an airplane toilet). The toilet had a bad smell too. There was not...

Location very good - on t'Zand square. Large, comfortable rooms. Helpful & friendly staff. Excellent continental breakfast. Good electronic key access system for after hours entry. Brilliant value for money. Nearby parking in t'Zand underground car park. Note that the building tends to be a little warm throughout in summer weather, and that you may hear some noise from late...

TL/DR – The Lace Hotel appears to look nice from the lobby, but is unethical, and stole my money. I am a grad student studying in the Netherlands this summer. I attempted to book a room at the Lace Hotel through a travel site. It was a busy weekend in Bruges and all the hotels and AirBnb’s were selling out...

The location is great!! You can easily walk from thé bus station to the hotel. But the bathrooms are terrible. Small and weird. Other than that the room was small but since it was verry inexpensive we didn't bother roo much. The bathroom was the main problem. The corridor (level 2) smelled pretty bad.

If you have a room over the street good luck the bar next door stays open until 4am and is LOUD. I paid by cash as there 'credit card facilities' we're not working and then on top of that they charged me £466.88 for one room for one night!!! My friend was also charged £372 for one night nearly £900...

We made a booking with the Lace hotel on 16th March 2016 for the two nights of 5th and 6th May 2016. Check-in was Thursday 5th May 2016 (14:00 - 18:00) and check-out was Saturday 7th May 2016 (08:00 - 11:00) One of the conditions of the booking was that guest parking was possible in the form of public parking...

The room itself is very nice. Very clean and has a decent shower. The bathroom is part of the main room but separated by a brick wall that doesn't go all the way to the ceiling. The hotel is ideally located as it's about 10mins walk from the station and just on the edge of the town center. The downsides...

Had a one night stay to enjoy the Christmas market. We treated ourselves to a suite but we were initially put in a twin room at the back of the building. I went to reception to be told it was a suite but he would move us to a different one -the suite was double the size with a view...

I've stayed in better hotels BUT for different occasions or reasons. My review is based on value for money and what I needed for this trip. I haven't read other guests reviews but this is what I thought. Room was clean and tidy and not a bad size. I liked the location of the hotel as it was walking distance...
