The place has a perfect location for the city. However, the rooms do get noisy as there is a lot of night life bellow. Not really tidy and really old fashiond bathroom - the plastic F1 look... The reall drawback was the staff. Nobody there even thouh still in reception hours... when there I was just relieved - did only...

We stayed here for 1 night in February. Rick the receptionist was an absolute gem. He upgraded our room and gave us tips on where to eat. I don't know how this hotel has bad reviews. For what we paid, it was an absolute bargain. Stay here, ignore the negative reviews, great location & cheap rooms.

Stayed here with friends on New Years Eve for 2 nights. Reception is a small entrance with what looks like a serving hatch to the left with 2 miserable male receptionist (who work different shifts) We booked 3 rooms and all 3 were dirty, smelly, cramped with bad lighting and badly stained duvets & pillows. The Bathrooms were very old...

We stayed for one night - us in one room (6), daughters in another (2). They seemed to gave a slightly better room with a sort of view (over the slightly boisterous pub and male urinals) as ours was an internal room with no view. Whilst not dirty or bad in any way, the rooms were tired and a little...

Booked a delux room for our four night stay in Bruges. Extremely rude attitude from the older gentlman on reception throughout our stay. Asked three times for new bed sheets and quilt after baby spilt milk but only one sheet arrived therefore had to sleep on bare bed and found Both quilts and matteress heavily stained. There was lots of...

Just returned from a brief visit to Bruges. Having been several times before, we thoroughly enjoyed your trip to the Christmas market in the main square. The hotel was easy to find, has a huge communal car park just underneath the area where the hotel is situated (only cost us €10.50 for about 26 hours parking) and is in a...

I went to Belgium with my boyfriend over the weekend. Spent one night in Bruges and one night in Brussels. Pros: - The hotel was well located. Close to the train station - around a 14 minute walk - and as Bruges is small was walking distance to some of the main attractions. - The hotel let us store our...

Last week we spent two nights staying in the Lace Hotel,Bruges. As it was quite a last minute decision to go,and we required 2 double rooms, the choice of hotels with availability was fairly limited. Good points: it was very inexpensive.(We've stayed in Bruges before, and generally speaking hotels are very good value anyway, even those in the City centre!). But as stated we...
