What a great hotel. Its potential is massive but the proprietors are just missing the details. So, the good.. the rooms are quirky and comfy. We were there Jan 2019 and the outside temp was between -4-4ºc so when we returned to our room, it was toasty warm. Check in was easy and

My husband and I spent one incredible night at this hotel in October 2018. What an amazing location and such beautiful rooms. We were completely in awe of this hotel, every detail was just wonderful. We will stay here again when we make it back to Bruges. The only negative for

Perfect location, comfortable room, all in an attractive old canal side building. Everyone was totally charming and Mr Bart at the reception desk is a total star! Nothing he doesn't know about Bruges.

My family spent a peaceful Christmas Eve and Day in the junior suite, the largest room in the hotel, in the circa 1600s building on the top floor. I read all the reviews before we visited, and I was shocked by the venom of some reviews, so I was a bit worried when we arrived.

I saw dogs there at Christmas. I don't think it's a problem.

Looking at staying end of November beginning of December. Do you have parking?
They do yes! They have a few bays in the lot across the canal. Just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Right next to a delightful little restaurant. Sorry for the delay in answering. Didn't know travellers could post questions?!

Does your hotel have a lift?
The main hotel has a very small elevator that goes to all floors. It is a tight fit for four adults or two with luggage.

Are there any rooms that are canal side or have a canal view?
Dear Mr Raj, thank you for your request. Only the superior rooms do NOT have canal view, all the other types have view. The Pergola Deluxe rooms are actually right next to the canal and give the nicest view. One can't get closer than that to the canal. These rooms also have a fire place. If you use the tripadvisor code you'll receive 10% discount on the room rate. Hope to be able welcoming you. Tine Hessels

Hi, there are no tea making facilities in the room. Bicycles you can rent in the city.
