I was there for a romantic weekend with y boyfriend and I wished I had seen some of these reviews before I booked the room. This guesthouse changed the name into "Casa Corazon" and if I see the reviews I can imagine why. Our room costed 145 euros + 23 euros for the reservation an had NO DOOR. There were...

We were alleged to have permanently damaged a bed at the hostel because we placed a normal wet towel on the bedframe overnight. Whilst it is admitted that the wood of the bedframe had been soaked, we disputed any breach of duty of care (as we were not warned the wood would be damaged so easily) and the amount of...

First off, Veronique, I apologize for my delayed review! My friend and had been backpacking through Europe. After we had spent much of our time running around, taking planes, trains, and whatever means we could find, we wanted to go somewhere that was more serene and relaxing. We had heard great things about Brugge/Bruges, so we decided to take the...

Veronica's Guest House, the Swan in Bruges is awesome. Its a great location in the old city, and Veronica is very friendly and helpful. I would say I would rate it 5 of 5 stars. The only thing is that it is essentially a homestay, and you did feel as if you had to tiptoe around and her home sometimes....

nice rooms, a bit too classic for my taste. but clean and comfy. showers are not powerful but ok.the best thing is the customer service and the breakfast. we travelled a lot, but their breakfast was form far the best we ever had. there was nothing missing on that Swedish buffet. it exceeds all expectations! overall a nice experience given...

This is a very delayed review, due to technical problems with posting my review on the HostelWorld website. I had booked through them, but I was unable to post my review for this property for some time. I stayed at this property in December 2010, during one of the coldest winters in Europe. I booked the place based on the...

I stayed with my boyfriend at this guesthouse initially for one evening during our interrailing adventure. It was about 20 minutes walk from the station which was a pleasant stroll during sunset, and we found the guesthouse very easily (although were slightly confused as there was no sign outside...). Veronique was AMAZINGLY helpful - she immediately showed us the best...

Staying here was a pleasant experience - it's in a nice, quiet part of town close to the train station, and Veronique is very helpful if you need tips about Bruges. Breakfast with other guests is around 9:30 each morning. There are a few things that could be improved - our bedroom didn't have a trash can in it (a...

I stayed with my boyfriend at the guesthouse while we were taking a trip together during holidays. I picked the place because the reviews were good and the photos I had seen looked really nice and charming. The rooms were described as one "Romantic room" and one "Attic room". We stayed in the romantic room and it was fine. Overall...

“On the second floor you share a bathroom with Veronica (the owner). I believe you have your own bathroom on the third floor, that would be my preference.”

“ask for a back garden room as the front of the hotel is in the city centre and it can be noisy”

“I would choose the attic room because it has a lot of charm and character. It is well designed and is on a floor of its own so you can have your privacy. The adjoining bathroom is nice and spacious, and the view is great.”
