Description
The Grand Hotel Casselbergh has many qualities that will guarantee you a special stay. Rich history is combined with modern luxury. The location, at the heart of the historical centre of Bruges - a UNESCO More world heritage city - with its wonderful mediaeval buildings and idyllic canals, make the hotel unique. This luxurious hotel has been created out of three historical residences known as 'Casselbergh', 'Zeven Torens', and 't Fransch Schildt'. These buildings were owned and lived in throughout many centuries by leading citizens and the local aristocracy. Breathe in and enjoy the atmosphere of a bygone age! To the rear, a new wing has been added with quality architecture that is perfectly integrated with the surrounding buildings. Grand Hotel Casselbergh has 118 elegant rooms. They combine modern luxury with the authentic charm of 18th-century Bruges. The hotel has various meeting rooms, 40 parking places, and a superbly appointed wellness centre in the 16th-century cellars. This romantic hotel is certain to enchant you and welcome you with its attentive hospitality. Less

This is a very classy hotel. Our room was large and beautifully appointed and maintained. It was also kept very clean each day. The decor in the lounge during this Christmas Season was beautiful and the drinks and service were excellent. In a very expensive city, I was surpri

For us as travelers, and for myself as a travel counselor I often look for places where we can associate the past to the present. Grand Hotel Casselbergh did just that for us with wonderful décor, welcoming employees, great location.

This is a superb hotel in the centre of Bruges and is GRAND in every sense. High ceilings, massive chandeliers, immaculate rooms, excellent service. This used to be the palace of King Charles II when in exile. We didn't eat there (breakfast eu25 per head) so cannot comment on a

We are arriving at the hotel next week and gave pre booked the car park. Do you have to go to reception first or do you just drive in? Where in relation to the hotel is it ?
Dear Madam, Sir thanks a lot for your inquiry. The hotel has an underground parking, accessible by car elevator. We suggest, you pass by reception before you park, so you have the correct instructions with you. Kindest regards.

Is it easy to get a bus from the train station to the hotel with a buggy please?
Dear Madam, Sir thanks a lot for this question too ;-). You can hop on the bus at the railwaystation with your buggy, but a more easy way is to take a taxi van... it's easier to arrive at the hotel. Kindest regards.

Hi, I am contemplating booking to stay with you in November with my husband and out 8 month old baby. Do you provide travel cots please and is there any charge? We are also hoping to avoid bringing the baby car seat. Is it possible to get around the "highlights of Bruges" by foot from your hotel with the buggy or is it advisable we may need a taxi in which case we will look to bring the car.
Dear Madam, Sir thanks a lot for your message. We do provide baby cots at 15 EUR per night. A car is not really needed, as we are in the main center of the city. You could come by train and you'll only need a taxi from the station to the hotel (+/- 15 EUR). Kindest regards.
