WHO? Myself, my wife and our two daughters, aged 11 and 13. WHEN? August 2014 OWNERS? A fabulous couple, for whom nothing is too much trouble. They smile, make you feel welcome and are always willing to answer questions and help you. I was particularly impressed with the help I got with parking (I ended up being able to leave...

When we arrived at Brughia B&B, we were welcomed by our hostess, who proceeded to welcome us to Bruges, explain the best places to eat and visit, and who paid attention to every detail during our visit. During our (brief) stay, there were guests from England, Australia, Italy, France and (I think) Belgium - the hostess made everyone feel welcome...

Anyone wishing to spend a few days in Bruges could not do any better than this. Ideally placed near the centre of the city this charming old house is owned by a delightful couple who could not do enough to make our stay perfect. Bedrooms had been tastefully renovated and were spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was lovely with the nicest...

Firstly thanks to all the Tripadvisor contributors who guided us to Brughia B&B. Due to the excellent reviews our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. Met at the door by the delightful owner Beaka we were immediately put at ease with her genuine welcoming smile and a chat about the beautiful house followed by a map tour of...

The couple who owns Brughia B & B are ideally suited for the job---they are friendly, kind, thoughtful, and 100% service-oriented. The building is well renovated, spotlessly clean, and features a magnificent small garden in the rear. Our room was spacious and attractively decorated, with big windows overlooking the garden. It is but a few minutes walk from the "high...

Spent 3 nights here over Easter, having booked on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews. Our room faced the back garden (where there is seating for guests to enjoy). Although not large, the room was quite adequate for our stay, especially when one is out sightseeing most of the day. Wi-fi was somewhat erratic and we had to sit in the...

My husband, cousin, and I just returned from five nights at B & B Brughia. The lovely owners, Arnout and Bieke, are very hospitable and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the beds were great after all the walking we did during the day. Breakfast each morning was incredible! From the friendly conversations between guest to the food...

This was a great find! Stayed two nights recently, and was not disappointed. The owner was lovely and very welcoming, and it's obvious she really cares about making your stay a good one. She was very helpful, and happy to give recommendations to new visitors to Bruges. The house was clean and with homely decor; we particularly liked the interesting...

a warm welcome in a cosy, homely atmosphere, a delicious breakfast (with fresh orange juice) and owners who are really involved in running this place as a real B&B rather than a hotel, makes one feel very happy when staying in this beautiful place

“Got the big room with the garden view (#5) and loved it.”

“The large room overlooking the garden also has a sitting corner which is useful for writing emails etc. The only negative is that the shower (tiny room!) opens into the bedroom - there is no bathroom as such. The toilet is in a separate room off the bedroom and there is a big wash basin at the other end of the bedroom.”
