Well the only thing that was't perfect was the fact, that we only stayed one night! Our room - we were upgraded to the Ruben's Suite - was a 70 qm room filled with antique furnitures, old pictures and books, a big, very comfortable bed and a bath bigger than some hotel rooms I had booked in the past. Actually...

It's an amazing place from 17th century. Everything is very classy and cousy. The room was very comfortable and beautiful, as show in photos. The reception and staff is very friendly, very customized. I would stay there again for sure.

Now I never give a five, but, I would rate this a six. Staying in this old beautifully located building was one of the best experiences. I take my hat off to Michael, the concierge who made me feel that I was part of a family. He upgraded us to the Rembrandt room and everything was perfect. Breakfast was freshly...

Located in a quiet street close to the main city underground car park we discovered a little gem. Is it a very posh B&B or do we call this a boutique hotel? Either way you are welcomed like royalty and Michael covered everything required before showing you to your room. The ornate decor of the whole place is just amazing...

The room was large, beautifully appointed, very comfortable and very charming. Our host was patient, considerate, friendly and very intelligent. The breakfast was outstanding, both in size and quality. The location was in walking distance of everything we wanted to see.

Located in the middle of Brugges this offers a perfect location to discover the city. From the very warm welcome we received from the manager and his family, to the ornate decor of the once artist owner, to the breakfast and general standard of the place, if in Brugges again I would take pleasure in returning.

Beautiful guest house in a very quiet street, very close to the centre of this historic city. The house is ancient but combines modern amenities with the historic artefacts within. We had a lovely large room with huge ensuite with great shower and lovely hot water. Michael is an amazing host who gives great advice about places to see and great...

The location is very convenient. The place is beautiful. The hosts are very kind. I've loved my room, it was big, clean and lovely (the only negative point: the very small TV). The breakfast was very good. I'll come back there for sure.

Bruges or Brugge is one of the most marvellous places I have been. We opted for a B&B on this trip and stayed at Huis 't Schaep. It was truly brilliant and occupies a traditional three storey house with steep stairs to the upper floors. Don't be put off - within a day you get used to the climb. We...
