Ahh, Bruges - such a beautiful city. We stayed for a few days in August and had a wonderful time. This was our second time visiting Bruges and both times we stayed at the B&B Speelmansrei, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The B&B Speelmansrei is simply fantastic and really adds something special to the experience of Bruges . The rooms...

Stayed for 2 nights. We enjoyed Kees and Kathleen's home as much as we enjoyed Brugge. Lovely room, beautiful breakfast, lovely people. Weather was beautiful so we were able to enjoy our coffee in their lovely relaxing garden. Would not hesitate to stop here again.

We booked a two day stay at this B&B on the basis of the reviews we read on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed! Kees and Kathleen are the perfect hosts and we were made to feel very welcome in their lovely home. Breakfast was excellent each day and more than enough for us (and we are big eaters). The...

We stayed here for 3 days and it was perfect! It is run by a husband and wife. They are so welcoming, very helpful, and wonderful to talk to. Their house is beautiful, the room was very very nice and comfortable. And the breakfast was very good, best we had during our trip!

They provided us with maps of the city highlighting places to see and restaurants to eat at. Our room was perfect with a very comfortable king bed, a huge bathroom and a wonderful view of the...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Speelmansrei at very short notice (in a moment of post-Brexit despair). From the moment that we made the booking, Kees was incredibly helpful, providing information and maps to help us find the B&B. When we arrived Kees gave us lots of tips for restaurants (even checking which offered vegetarian options for me!), walks and...

Not only is Speelmansrei conveniently located for sightseeing, easy to find upon arrival in Bruges, elegantly appointed and comfortable with delicious and plentiful fresh breakfasts, but best of all are the welcoming hosts! Not only are Kees & Kathleen justifiably proud of their beautiful home and grounds and happy to share decorating and landscaping stories and details, but they are...
